The following paper attempts a discussion on the democratic socialism within the country
and the ways in which the concept of democratic socialism might be used in order to help the
concerned state to uphold the existence of the public good within the state in terms of justice,
order and power.
The democratic socialism refers to one of the ideologies of the left that deals in the major
involvement on the part of the residents of the country. The concept of the democratic socialism
refers to the political ideology that states that the society as well as the economy of the country
should be administered in a democratic manner so as to meet the needs and the demands of the
public and not just a few people. The democratic socialism helps the citizens of the country to
take part in the decision-making activities that are followed within the given country and thereby
ensures the overall development of the country (Magstadt, 2016). The democratic socialism
