INTRODUCTION
Politics is mainly related with the governance of the country which aims at improving the
power and status of individual within organisation. Parliamentary system of the
government have real executive power which has been vested within the cabinet which is
largely composed of members of legislature. On the contrary, The Presidential system is
considered to be as the form of government where the president is considered to be as the
Chief executive and is directly elected by the individual people. The parliamentary
government has 2 heads. One is nominal and other one is real head. On the other hand,
Presidential government has only one head.

PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM
 Parliamentary system of the government
states that, the executive branch of the
government tends to get direct as well as
indirect support from the parliament.
 They are collectively and individually
responsible to the legislature.
 They has been democratically elected as
parliamentary government.

ADVANTAGES
 One of the key advantage associated
with the parliamentary system is that it
is easier and faster to pass any
legislation.
 It is considered to be one of the most
unified parliament and executive.
DISADVANTAGES
 On the contrary, the major
disadvantage associated with the
parliamentary system is that, it tends to
result in unstable government and the
loss in confidence will result in
replacement of Prime Minister and
Counsellor.

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM
 The Presidential system is considered to be
as the form of government where the
president is considered to be as the Chief
executive and is directly elected by the
individual people.
 The president holds seperate power from the
legislature. The legislature pass laws and
president ensure that laws are enforced.
 The president is considered to both head of
the government and state.

ADVANTAGES
 The key advantage of the Presidential
system is that, the head of the state is
elected with the help of direct mandate.
 This makes the authority of the
president more legitimate.
DISADVANTAGES
 On the contrary, the major disadvantage
associated with the presidential system is
that, there is a high degree of risk vesting
within the authority.
 Another major disadvantage is that,
president with the government system
tends to take decision without the support
of the public.

 Aweis: Hello Michael how are you & how is your poor democracy in USA.
 Michael: Hello friend Aweis! What are you talking about now?
 Aweis: I’m on about how such a country like United States could have a elected President like Donald Trump? Your system of
electoral is a fit for purpose & I don’t get how someone getting the popular vote can lose and some college kids can out vote them
majority of the voters to elect the president.
 Michael: looking who’s talking Boris and Brexit & hi mate it’s not college kids, A total of 538 electors form the Electoral College.
Each elector casts one vote following the general election. The candidate who gets 270 votes or more wins. OKAY.
 Aweis: In U.K. people voting to live and that’s the job of the government, I believe that’s true democracy friend. The government
has been performing great with the most effective Parliamentary system of government.
 Michael: Well, Presidential system is followed in USA, where the President of the country is elected by the popular vote. Within
this system all the 3 branches i.,e legislative, executive and judiciary are constitutionally independent on each other.

 Aweis: I agree with that. Britain is considered to be as the parliamentary monarchy. This
parliament is made up of bicameral parliament which mainly constitute of two houses i.e.,
House of Lords and House of Common.
 Michael: I completely disagree with you. Within Presidential system, the executive power is
considered to be undivided and the president is elected by the individual people which gives
him independence to take necessary decision within the branch.
 Aweis: One of the major advantage of the Parliamentary government is that it is one of the
most efficient system which helps in effectively imputing various legislations with the
governmental structure. Parliamentary system is racially and ethically divided unlike your
Presidential system.
 Michael: I do not withstand by the single word you said! The Presidential system of the USA
have high degree of advantages. It is very efficient and also tends to have unified
parliamentary structure.

 Aweis: Oh come on! What about the several disadvantages which are withheld by the presidential system. Separation of power
eventually results in indicating limited level of the accountability. This results in high degree of blame game between legislature and
executive.
 Michael: I completely disagree with you Aweis. Parliamentary system has more disadvantages than Presidential system.
Parliamentary systems high degree of power is placed within the executive entity. Parliamentary system is considered to be
bicameral and is considered to be unstable system.
 Aweis: I completely disagree with your opinion man! Parliamentary system is less prone to the authorization collapse. Prime
minister of the country tends to have high degree of focus on voting for gaining political ideas.
 Michael: Well I do not agree with you. I think Presidential system is better than Parliamentary system of UK because it tends to
make the president's authority more legit by carrying out direct set of elections. The President of the country is elected by the people
directly which makes the power of the president more legitimate than of the leader who has been appointed indirectly.

CONCLUSION
From the above carried out study it has been concluded that, Presidential system is better
than Parliamentary system of UK because it tends to make the authority of the President
more legitimate because they are elected by the people of the country. On the other hand, it
has been summarized that, parliamentary system is that it is easier and faster to pass any
legislation.
