INTRODUCTION
Oral health hygiene is very important topic in health care system in context to the peoples
healthy life, for preventing the oral health related issues. One of the most important thing is
that these good oral health habit's should be in practices from early in life. Oral health promotion
programmes are the essential model of public influence and encouragement for the good oral
hygiene behaviours as key practices of daily life (Varenne., & Fox, (2021). Refugee peoples are
at the higher risk of the diseases, due to their poor oral health and living circumstances. In
context to the refugee peoples oral health promotion, oral health project is done. Which has been
provided the effective oral health education session on the basis Wagga Refugee Health
Assessment Clinic, Refugee Health Nurse request to the Wagga’s 8 newly arrived community
members. For the implementation of the oral health promotion in the target group, different
implementation strategies are used such as the analysis of crucial oral hygiene factors and
development objective for its improvement (McGrath., Marino & Satur. (2021). SMART goals
with the selective time period was used in the oral health promotion project. Project objectives
were pedagogical approach Education, reduce the gap in health disparities, providing necessary
healthcare amenities or patient-specific products, knowledge on nutritional supplementation,
presentations on consuming a healthy diet, planned meals. The Wagga Refugee Health
Assessment Centre , target group, health promoters and Multicultural Council were the
important stakeholders. Oral health project is accomplished with the effective budget planning,
evaluation and challenges management. In this report evolutional of the oral health project is
done in order to evaluate project outcomes and to make recommendation for future oral health
promotion interventions.
MAIN BODY
Purpose of the oral hygiene is prevent the oral health issues like (dental caries,
periodontal disease )by removing and preventing the formation of plaque and tartar. In order to
achieve the goal of oral hygiene that is important, to encourage and educate people about oral
health and practices of the good oral hygiene. Below is the brief evaluation of the oral health
project which was done for the refugee group.

Description of project initial goals and objectives
There were the two major objectives of the oral health project.
Oral health promotion, To improve the wagga refugees access to the health care services
by 15%.
To increasing the knowledge on nutritional supplementation and increase oral hygiene
by 15% among the Wagga Refuges within the next 12 months.
Concept of health promotion evaluation is involving the systematic examination and
assessment of the initiative project features and effects. In order to develop the appropriate
information which can be further use for more improvement and effectiveness. In context to the
health promotion evolutional is the key element, of improvement and designing. The planing
and implementation of the oral health promotion project was done with the brief analysis of the
target group health condition and their needs, and its accomplish was further evaluated in the
project task. In order to interpretation the outcomes and results of the project which helps to
effectively accomplish the goals. There are the five principles of health promotion values such
as the concept of the promotional project should be positive and broad, there should be
appropriate participation and involvement, action and action competence, good setting
prospectives, equity in health. Oral health promotion project evaluation and its performance in
context to the health care promotion principles is explain below along with its intervention of
each objectives (Dimitropoulos and et. al. (2020).
Interventions
First objective
The first objective of the project is meeting the health promotion principles because that
is positive in context to the target group and it broad concept which cover the Wagga’s 8 newly
arrived community members, education with the purpose of their access improvement to the
health care services. This is important and relevant objective in context to the refugee group and
oral health promotion, because in prospective of the oral health first important step is education
which help to make people aware about the oral health, issues and types of services provided for
care. This is crucial in context to the refugee because it has been observed that individuals are

more vulnerable to the chromic illness due to their lack of the access, awareness to the health
care services and neglecting attitudes. Oral disease may lead to the heart disease and diabetes
problems so that is important to make the educational approaches for the management of all
those risk of the oral health issues. For accomplishment of this goal different strategies and
interventions were used
Health care services education- as the newly arrived refugee are unaware about the
health care services and polices , which is reserved for them in care centres. The
strategies like broadening the knowledge reduce related to those peoples is done in order
to use the effective guidelines for their education and for the reduction of gap in health
disparities. This project planing and Implementation is effectively accomplished with the
application of health promotions principles of the Alma Ata according to which there
should be equity, community participation and effective technological application in
primary care and health promotion. Such as key stakeholders and community performed
effectively along with the management of equity to Providing patient-specific products
along with information of oral health devices. This was done to improve the results and
oral health hygiene outcomes (Evensen and et. Al . (2021) .
Second objective
Second objective of the project was the development of the target group knowledge about
the nutrition supplements to improve the overall health and its benefits in improvement of oral
hygiene. This objective was planed because there is the higher importance of the nutritional food
in the management of haemostatic balance of the gut Bactria, which is connected to the oral
disease. This need to be explained to the target group so that they can improve their diet and
maintain oral hygiene. In order to accomplish this goal health promotional principles of Alma
Ata is applied in the project planning and strategies, such as the project started with the education
of target group about the ill effects of tobacco consumption . This goal of the project achieved
effectively through the presentation of healthy diet consumption importance, with the use of
fluoridated water. Strategies of the project is also incorporated facilities of the comfortable
environment in order to effectively addressing concern and difficulties related to the obtaining
the privilege of nutritional food. Promotion value principle like application of the techniques, is
accomplishes in this project by designing a framework of planned meals. Which provided the
effective guidelines of the low calories and fiver rich food (Taghat, Werling & Östberg, (2020).

Oral health promotion project in the stages of process, impact and outcomes evaluation
was accomplished with the effective and collaborative work of the key stakeholder and
budgeting. For the project out come evolutional, effective interpretation of the results is done,
along with this each challenges of the project is analysed and solution is implemented to manage
that (Masumo., Ndekero, & Carneiro. (2020)). At the begning of the project process, initial
step was to build the strong collaboration with key target group (refugee individuals) before the
celebration of local participants. So for that project from eight newly arrived community,
vulnerable group is selected , who was belonging to the different ethicality and know minimal
English (Lehtinen, and et. al. (2020) .
Dental professional ans nurses was collaborated in the project for the promotion of oral
health standard's. This was due to the higher connectivity of the oral health and risk of the
cardiovascular issues, to provide the important information to the refugee group.
Another approach of the project process was collaboration of the organisation, in order to
provide the effective oral health education to the target group, this was successfully done with
the support of The Wagga Refugee Health Assessment Centre collaboration and its holistic
health assessment services , counselling support . Renowned dental suppliers company was
collaborated to provide target group with the oral care products, awareness and information of
oral health products use. e-posters and pamphlets, clinical setup assistance were also selected as
the key stakeholder. Complete project were effectively distriobu6ted among the team (Karimy
and et. Al (2020) .
On the basis of the above strategies and goals, was accomplished and for analysis of its
impact two part of the surveys is done such as the pre and post surveys. Pre presentation serve
was the questionnaire which was done in the different age group and according to its results
estimation five member were belonging to the age group of 36-45. they are not visiting the
dentist and from the 11 participants 8 feel that they are not informed about the importance of oral
health. Not a single member is aware about the health services and their access. 6 members
answer yes to the future application of the services and some are not even interested. Language

barrier is the most affecting factor because this discourage the community to get access to the
health care service. 6 member are not confident about the oral health understanding and some
know it moderate level. 6 members answered that vegetables, meat and grains are the health diet,
and they are incorporating all these things in diet but, it has been evaluated that peoples are not
having the complete knowledge of health diet and they are not taking the appropriate water.
On the basis of the questionnaire which done on the 10 members of the target group, with
10 questions the estimated impacts and outcomes of the project goal is illustrating that. Project
get success in the motivation of target group to achieve the optimal oral hygiene behaviours,
because from the 10 participants 9 answer that they are motivated. Some of the members not
answered the question and 4 member answered that they will incorporate the regular dental visits
in their health routine. According to which project is positively impacting but it need more
efforts in this area. Project is successful in the development of oral hygiene importance in target
group as estimated answers in context to this topic is very important from seven members from
10 participants. Members of the target group started showing their interest in oral hygiene by
assessing the previous year program. Target group member's access to the health services is
improved as only 2 members answer that they are facing the problem. Project presentation get
success in the group motivation for future dental visits, as from the 10 participants 7 answered
yes to the dental visits. Brushing of the teeth is now improving in the target group as 6 members
are confident, but some need the translation of the language for better understanding. From the
10 participants 7 members are agree that their understanding about the health diet habit's is better
which means project achieve effective outcome. 6 members answered that they are considering
making changes in their diet, which means project is achieved success in the target group oral
health awareness development. Out of the 10 participants 6 are finding alternatives for their oral
care and showing interest to the oral hygiene (Jamieson and et. Al . (2020).
Recommendations for future oral health promotion interventions for the community group
From the above evaluation of the goals and its accomplishment some recommendation
are given below for the oral health promotion in context to the refugee group or community.
Language translation facility- There are the different techniques and services of the
language translation which can be helpful in the management and overcoming the language
barrier of the oral health promotion. Such as compiler (GCC), interpreter (LISP), assembler are
the type of language translator (SOAP) (Kharbanda and et. al., (2021).

More improvement in the health care services access education and facility – Project
in the future practices should make sure that they implement the current health care polices and
services along with the brief guidance of oral health services. That how the individual can get
free or paid services and what are the criteria for that. Such as project should incorporate more
integrated model of access and work on the management of group debilities.
Education regarding the alternative oral care services- There are the various
alternatives of the oral health care from pharmaceuticals to the neural care practices such as,
Cloves, oil pulling, hydrogen peroxide, natural tooth paste and baking soda. About which refugee
community should be educated.
More effective presentation on the dental visit importance- In the future project of
oral heath for the target group, more effective, understanding and attractive presentation should
be use to increase the community awareness and efforts about the dental visit (GeethaPriya and
et. Al (2020).
CONCLUSION
From above study it has been concluded that and to improve knowledge along with
their oral health hygiene practices. This project was conducted and implemented the different
goals and strategies for the education of refugee group regarding the oral health care services
access and information of the nutritional food and supplements is provident to then for the better
outcomes in oral hygiene management. From the evaluation of the project outcomes some gap
are identified in the form of barriers such as language issues, needs of the alternative oral care
and better access to the oral health services for which some recommendation are formulated.
Such as language translation facility, more improvement in the health care services access
education and facility, education regarding the alternative oral care services, more effective
presentation on the dental visit importance.
