INTRODUCTION
Portfolio refers to a summarized account of all type of evidences which a person carries
throughout the process of learning and development. Employee development is defined as a
procedure where the employee goes through various training programs in order to enhance their
skills and acquire new knowledge. In a business organization it is important to develop such
skills. There are different types of employability skills like communication, team work, research
and so on. It is very important to develop skills especially in the phase of career development.
When an employee develops themselves, acquire all necessary knowledge and skills it is
beneficial for them in order to achieve success. The below report is based on the reflective
summary on how and why mini project workshops contributed towards development of
employability. It also includes evidence on the basis of 12 articles.
MAIN BODY
How and why the mini project workshops contributed towards the development of employability
As a part of mini project workshops, I endured various types of experiences which gave
me a step to my procedure of learning. The overall experience which I had allowed me to make
certain improvements and at the same point of time develop different skills which will be
essential for me in future during the phase of employability. During mini project workshops
there were many skills which were not efficient also in context with participation. Though after
going through workshops I was in the phase where I got a chance to improve and develop my
skills in a good manner. Almost all skills were in relation to employability. During the workshop
the most efficient skill which I developed was leadership skill. So, with respect to this my mentor
handed me the responsibility of organizing a workshop. In accordance with this it enabled me to
express my leadership skills by organizing whole workshop effectively. I made use of my
communication skills to set proper network across all team members who were there in the
workshop. The main skill which I would require in my future is employability skills. With
respect to this it is very important for me to make use of my other talents so that I can develop
myself. During the mini project workshops I had to indulge into any activities and to participate
in such activities proper skills were needed. It contributed towards the development of
employability because it helped me in understand all type of skills as well as behavior according
to my mentor expectations and lead to long term employment.
During workshop I always focused on efficient communication skills across whole team and my
supervisors. Through this it helped me in improving my employability skills as I always had
positive attitude towards the workshop. During the phase of this project many consequences also
got arise but at this point of time it was important for me to fully contribute in the project and
properly manage everything. As everyone knows it is very crucial to develop the skill of
employability because it is the only thing which is involved into the aspect of career
