Overview
For this study, researcher chooses Burning issue for young skin from Herald Sun
Newspaper, January 24, 2020.
Article relate to UNSDGs
The current article is related to Goal 3 from UNSDGs: Good health and Well being,
which refers to ensure the healthy lives and promote well-being of all the age people and also
provide necessary facilities to them at the time of emergency. In the same way, current article is
also highlights that Kids are showing severe sunburn to an emergency department from summer
and even experts are also requesting their parents to look after their children’s skin. Such that in
2019 and 2019, there were 5 severe cases found who are presented at emergency department and
the age of those children is only 9. Moreover, after some time, there were 296 cases across all
ages who presented at emergency department and around 160 are consider as a semi-urgent,
while 69 were urgent.
Important stakeholders
Under this case some of the key stakeholders are as mention below:
Parents: One of the important key stakeholders who actually suffers a lot after children
because their children are in sever condition. They are the individual who are ready to pay any
cost in order to get better treatment form the hospitals to cure their children. So it is the duty of
the parents to take care of their children and take prevent actions as well.
Children: Another stakeholder who actually suffer from the issue because most of the
cases in Australia of skin burn are related to small children and many of them are urgent as well
(Sheridan, 2020). Also, they are the most important stakeholder because they suffer the most due
to skin burning.
Government: they are the official bodies who take preventive actions in order to get rid
from the problem. As per the Goal 3 under UNSDG, government is entirely responsible if any of
the citizen face issue with regards to a specific problem. That is why, they take preventive action
and also pressurize among scientist to prepare the vaccine in order to cure the issue.
