INTRODUCTIONWriting portfolio may be defined as the process of collection of students writing whetherprint or electronic form which is intended to demonstrate the writer's development over one ormore academic terms. The main purpose of writing portfolio is that it enables the writer'simprovements and its achievement. This report discusses about the how could an individualidentify its skills as writer and how the process of writing composition has developed during theunit. Present report also includes that how emerging self-knowledge of writing process and as awriter could be developed in the students in order to develop their writing. SECTION 1Identity as a writerIt is important for any individual understand its identity a good writer and I write to learneach and every time I write I learn new things every time. Writing helps me to organise theknowledge which I obtain which develops a sense in me for everything. Writing has been aserious part of business in me and that it is the reason I keep on writing in order to improve myskills. To become a good writer I need to construct the writing in such a way that it should beunderstood by the target audience, the little words, big words or made up words which are madeby me should be an easy grab for others. I believe that the only difference between a writer andgood writer is not a talent but an understanding of what a writer can not do for example if I amnot able to use big words then next time I need to improve myself which is sign of becoming agood writer. During the unit my identity as a writer has developed in various ways which hashelped me to become a good writer. I have not published any work till date and even I don't getpaid for it but I still I am writer. My journey as a writer has been very good and full of challengeslike I lacked the creativity in my writing but within the period of time I have developed creativityas a writer. I also have developed thinking ability in myself in order to become a good writer,also writing anything needs a choice in order to write any specific topics. The choice writingcould be hand written or typed. Different audience requires different process of thought and Ihave developed the ability provide such thought process to them. Every piece that I have writtenis written with good content with proper structure and with good presentation. During the unit Ialso have developed by rephrasing and editing skills which is really important for becoming agood writer.
