My degree is Management of business administration (MBA) in Digital marketing. it has
been in high demand in present market. The position of my degree is market is at high level as
digital marketing is emerging as new way of doing marketing. Also, in labour market this degree
is pursued by more student as there is high scope in future. Moreover, it requires technical skills
in it to pursue this degree in digital marketing field. In future position of degree will be at
priority. There will be more graduates doing management degree (Barbose, 2017).

I will like to spend my year in digital marketing field and in retail industry. This is
because it will help me to gain insight on trends, market analysis, etc. also, i will gain knowledge
about it and develop skills as well. with that i will be able to pursue my career in digital
marketing field. Thus, a job advert is being placed by M&S which is as below :

In order to get placed in company I need to possess relevant and effective skills so that in
placement it will help me. Thus, there are many skills which I am developing that I think will
help me in placement. Here, first I am developing analysis skills so that I am able to analyse
data and info on basis of which I can do digital marketing. Another skill that I am developing is
communication so that during interview I am able to communicate in effective way (Barbose,
2017). It will help me to interact with people properly and listening as well. Besides that, I am
developing time management skills so that I am able to complete task in given time. It will help
in putting a good impression in front of company HR. thus, these all are skills that will
enhance my performance in placement.

It can be stated that employer branding means to hire and attract best talent from the
market. This is used by companies to hire best candidates by targeting a specific group.
Basically, it is for long term purpose. Similarly, by job advert of digital marketing executive it
can be analysed that M&S want to hire fresh graduate in digital marketing. They want
innovative ideas for doing marketing. Thus, they are attracting young talent. Hence, they have
positioned itself as young talent in market. The job was advertised on M&S main website in
career section. Also, it can be found that employer branding model used by company was value
chain model. In that long term proposition was done to attract young talent. It also enabled in
retaining that talent within firm (Bush, and et.al., 2020).

In order to build my own professional brand I am doing many things so that employers
get attracted to me. First is that I am learning online course such as Digital analytics, digital
marketing,, etc. to gain experience of my field. Thus, I am learning this as offered by companies
such as Google and Microsoft. So, I will be having additional advantage as well. Apart from
that, I am able to do analysis of data of various sites such as Facebook, twitter, etc it will add in
my experience. In addition, I am learning use of different tools such as website testing, PPC,
email marketing, etc. So, having certificate of online learning will attract employers. I will be
able to build my professional brand.

3.1
Due to covid 19 there is great affect on working in organization. It is because pandemic
has changed overall way of working by following of new norms and guidelines. But here by
analyzing interview it is found that leader have brought some benefit to M&S. it can be said that
they have adopted new normal within company. By following of participative style where leader
has taken decision by consulting with all employees. Thus, leader got ideas and suggestions
regarding how to work, etc. this made staff feel comfortable as well. basically, this style also
useful in attaining of goals and objectives in effective way. Moreover, leader communicated
regularly with staff regarding any issues or problems being faced. Thus , with communication
leader was able to motivate staff easily.
Another benefits brought was that leader developed a strategy of providing training to
staff. They did planning in depth that how to train them, take feedback, do observation, etc.
hence, through new methods or ways training was provided to them on regular basis that how to
work in new normal way (Carl, and Strydom, 2017).
3.2
Here, it can be identified that leadership model used by HR in abc was participative one.
This model was fit as it enabled in leader to work with staff in adopting new working.
However, use of other model such as autocratic, democratic, etc was not beneficial as it did not
gave proper outcomes. So, in these leader only direct staff to work. So, participative model was
fit in order to work in team in organization. It also allowed leader to motivate staff to work in
team and attain goals.

There are certain developments that can be done by M&S.. This will benefit them in
improving their performance. They are as follow
M&S can use technology in their operations so that efficiency is enhanced. Here, AI, AR,
robotics, etc. can be used. This will help leader as well as employees to attain goals in effective
way.
The leader should try and develop a new culture in organisation. It means that culture of
innovation must be created in it. The culture can be developed by including flexibility in
