INTRODUCTION
Portfolio can be termed as specification of experience, skills and abilities of individual
that portray existing qualities of a person. This report will focus on developing a portfolio which
will include all the details of skills and experience that play an important role for a supervisor.
This portfolio will include a narrative CV which will include all the details of experience, skills
and aspiration required for supervisor. There will be a discussion of the skills needed for this role
and on the basis of that information, a critical analysis will be performed. In the last section of
assignment, reflection will be written in order evaluate the overall the experience.

I am a supervisor in XYZ company. I have done my graduation and diploma course in
MBA in marketing. I have worked as a supervisor for over 3 years now. After completing my
training as a supervisor, I joined a small company to start my career. Through this time period, I
have learned a lot of things which helped me in improving my personality and performance both.
I have worked in various companies as a supervisor. These jobs have helped me in improving
skills, such as, my communication skill, analytical skill, time management, etc. All these skills
are very helpful in the context of supervisor as this help sin in coming up with new and
innovative ideas for the organization to increase their sales and production. This will help your
organization in maintaining a good brand image in the industry and have competitive advantages
as well.
I have a good quality of managing team and making them strong enough to achieve their
targets and objectives effectively. Having a working experience of 3 years has helped me a lot in
performing my task and duties with effectiveness. Also, I have a good knowledge of all the skills
which should be present in a supervisor, such as decision-making and time management. Having
a good command over analytical skills is very essential for a supervisor in order to take
impressive decisions for his team members and for the company as well. These decisions will
help in increasing the sales and production of the organization effectively by implementing new

an organization to perform better. This will help the supervisor to encourage their staff
members to concentrate on their working capacity to complete their task on give time
frame effectively. This will aid in providing a benefit for the organization to enhance

a positive impact on them (Cottrell, 2015).
Many a time, interviews can create a stress situation which can be resolved by preparing

boosting my confidence and encouraged me to give my best in the interview. In my interview
simulation, I was asked to come in formal wear just as a real interview as this will help me in

has helped me a lot in enhancing my personality as an individual. With the help of this process I

2017). Simulation interviews are the best technique which can be used by anyone in order to
make an improvement in their personality.
The interview strives to imitate a real interview accurately so that the interviewee would
be better prepared in future job interviews. In my opinion, a mock interview is vital when
preparing for a real interview. This can be a very useful technique in improving the skills of a
person effective. For the improvement of interview techniques, various different can be asked by
the candidates which can help them in feeling relaxed as this will reduce the nervousness in
candidates. Other than this, there can be other changes as well which can help in improving
interview techniques effectively, such as giving them training how to start a conversation in the
interview and etiquettes of the interview is also an important factor. This has to be managed
properly while simulating an interview. By working on my negative points has helped me a lot in
increasing my capability as well in my field.
Interviews are a form of performance in which we perform and display our skills and
experience to the interviewer. This practice is very useful for those individuals who are scared of
giving interviews or have low confidence in themselves. This will make them feel encouraged
and boost up as well (Cottrell, 2015). We want to leave an impression on the minds of the
interviewers in order to have our application at the top in their list. Interviewers usually prefer
individuals who are confident, charismatic and articulate and has a good personality overall. All
these factors helps in giving a good impression on them. These interview simulation helps in
getting a good command over all these elements effectively (Jong and et. al., 2015).

From the above report it can be concluded that having a good command over the skills
can have a huge impact on an individual. As this will help them in analysing the personal flaws
that needs to be addressed properly for any job profile, such as communication skill, analytical
