INTRODUCTION
The aspect of portfolio is termed as the combination of various types of educational
evidences and also the presentation of students academic work with an aim of determining how
efficaciously improve the academic performance. In regard of this project, it encompasses the
summary of e-portfolio and information of different skills which students acquired during their
classroom sessions from their tutor (Baker and et. al., 2015).
SUMMARY
The concept of e-portfolio is considered as an efficacious and essential tool for students
as it enables them to present the information what they have acquired and learned during their
academic sessions. However, it is refer to a collection of digital or online artifacts comprises of
essays, posters, photographs, videos and artwork in order to accomplish the task in a prescribed
time frame without any hindrances. The core advantage which e-portfolio render to students is
that it assist them to analyse the achieved outcomes over time, build reliable connections among
disparate part of curriculum, identify accurate weakness to improve, develop personality as
learners in an impressive style. Along with this, it empower students to determine their strength
and also lead them to take corrective course of action by enriching the same in order to improve
their overall performance in an improved way (Nambiar, 2018). In addition with this, with the
utilisation of e-portfolio it drive pupil to stimulate deeper learning regarding any particular topics
as well as also enable them to transfer of their skills and knowledge in an amended mode. Apart
from this, it prepare enormous opportunities for students to be more intentional and deliberate for
integrating or connecting their personal, academic and profession goals with their learning in an
effective manner. Moreover, it also motive them to grab various innovative or novel ideas with
an intent of enhancing the learning and understanding skills as well as guide them to make
appropriate decisions in regard of overcoming their weakness in an amended way. Furthermore,
e- portfolio encourage students to make an initiative to read the assessment criteria and
understand the same effectively so that they clearly define what they want to acquire or meet in
upcoming days. Moreover, it also help students with self reflection which empower them to
overlook what all the skills or talents they have gained by performing their academic work
through e- portfolio and also drive them to make use of different programs or activities for
enlarge their potentiality in a creative or productive style.
