Corporate risk can be defined as financial instability faced by investor who hold
securities in an organization. This is important for each organization to understand the goals and
give their contribution to complete the project (Hege, Hutson and Laing, 2021). The whole report
is based on corporate risk which is facing by selected companies such as Channel4, Marks &
Spencer, and Altria. All organization are using different exposure and approaches to risk to
reduce the barriers and improving performance. The report covers compare and contrast of
different approaches, identification of risk, response, and risk communication that might be
affects the business organization.
MAIN BODY
Overview of each company and guiding strategy by comparing and contrast
Channel 4: This is British free to air public service television network that remit to
produce that offers high quality and distinctive programming. It launched in 1982 for the purpose
of entertaining people. The headquarter are in London, Horseferry road, and creative hubs in
Glasgow. This channel was established to provide a forth television service to the UK in addition
to licence funded BBC one and BBC two (Naseem and et.al., 2020).
Marks& Spencer: This is major British multinational retailer company established in
1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer. The headquarter in London, England. This is
largest brand that offers range of products and services as per demand which can help to increase
the productivity and profitability. The business is set up at more than 1463 location which can
help to reach the targeted customers and attain the business goals. The management conduct the
market analysis and bring new products (Shao and et.al., 2020).
Altria: Altria Group Inc. is an American corporation that is world's largest producers and
marketers of tobacco, cigarettes, and related products. The organization is operating its business
worldwide and headquarter in Henrico County, Virginia, and City of Richmond. This
organization increasing production and profitability by operating business accurately. The
management of organization analysis the risk which might be arise while running activities and
formulate the strategies to overcome them.
