Positive Energy savings:
In the field of electronics we deal with several impacts. For the generation of power (electricity),
we built power plant and huge amount of fuels and natural resources has been utilized for this
purpose. We adapt the technique of smart power savings. A great question arises among so many
people that, “Whether saving the power means utilizing the resources only when required”? The
accurate way to understand this deeply is to save the power with the sufficient resources used.
Our concept deals with the positive energy savings. We use indoor lights, but we don’t pay much
of our attention towards the cost of the lights and their energy consumption. We don’t afford
much of our cost in buying the bulbs and tube lights (Kubiszewski, Cleveland & Endres, 2010).
Perhaps, there could be replacement cost with the heavy power consumption that has to be
necessarily considered. Since these factors tend to increase the consumption of electricity with
the high level of replacement, we tend to adapt the LED lights that could be a great choice.
The energy consumption percentage reduces to the factor of 80 to 90 upon the usage of LED
lights. Hence this could save the electricity bill than our regular conventional lights. Moreover
the LED’s are said to be highly environment friendly than the fluorescent and the incandescent
lights. The upfront cost of the LED’s are very high on comparison, but their efficiency and
durability could compensate these factors. Return of investment for the LED is so fast due to
their longevity and power of emission of light. Depending on the brand and the quality, the cost
of the LEDs could vary, but that could last so long that do not require any replacement often thus
proving the factor of sustainability.
Our primary application deals with the saving of energy that could be done with the help of
LEDs. A thorough knowledge is necessarily gained regarding the energy saving and the use of
electrical consuming appliances. Then this should be compared with the other low energy
consuming devices and try to replace them. Then sufficient methodology should be adapted to
make them smart. Generally complex system could be improved for our positive energy saving
with the help of the Adaptive control system (Radzi, Abu, & Mohamad, 2009). Through this we
could improve the quality of life with the sustainable process. To proceed with this process, it is
necessary to increase the process with the high automation and continuous that should
sufficiently adapt to the environment. Our project is regarding the smart light system for the
positive energy saving that could be highly achieved with the adaptive behavior rules. This
could be evaluated with the help of the simulator that co-ordinates with the wireless sensor
network. This could result in saving of energy up to 35 percent when the system builds the
adaptive nature with the predefined behavior (Qiao, 2009).
In terms of electrical we could draw the substations, grid schematics of the power transmission
and wiring diagrams as well as the ladder circuits of PLC. They have specific features for
wirings and attributes drawing. CAD has separate library function for drawing the circuits of
electrical components. It has been widely used by several manufactures. Based on the standards
the user could create their own library with the symbols used. In our positive energy savings, we

break the problem in the following manner: 1) Regular need of maintenance should be made for
the ordinary power lamps (IEA 2012a). 2) Consumption of electricity is very high 3) It has some
starting trouble. The alternate way to reduce this could be the usage of LEDs. The wiring and the
implementation of these LEDs is necessarily analyzed and evaluated.
Certain scenarios could be highlighted while doing presentation. Certain situation with the case
study should be highlighted at this presentation (Chamorro, Mondéjar, Ramos, Segovia, Martín,
& Villamañán, 2012). Moreover the cost chart should be necessarily shown to the viewers. It is
sufficient to provide general situation that leads to the higher power consumption. Then our new
idea of implementing the LEDs should be highlighted (BP 2012). The various LED with their
cost and their life duration should be tabulated and shown. Moreover an important note is that
our innovation should be said briefly (Christidis, Koch, Pottel & Tsatsaronis, 2012). The
adaptive control system based LEDs could be the highlighted. A LED is said to be an electronic
component that is made up of semiconductors, which does not lose energy in the form of heat. It
could use 75% of less amount of energy when compared to the ordinary traditional lamps
(Deane, Gallachóir & McKeogh, 2010). The key differences that make the variation are as
follows:
Extended Lifetime- LED can work for 50,000 hours.
Rugged – It has no filament or bulb since it is made up of solid state lightning.
Warm-up period – There is no delay i.e., while switching on the bulb instantly glows
Excellent colour rendering: It could be very perfect for retail purposes since it does not
mislay it’s colour like the other fluorescent lamps.
Environmentally friendly in nature: Absence of mercury and other hazardous substances.
