Who is a good leader?
A leader is a person who is known for being able to effectively interact with fellow
colleagues and that too with ease.
They are also known for interacting effectively with subordinates.
A leader is a person who is present when his or her team is in need.
A person who is deemed to be a leaders is expected to be open minded.
Goldenhar, Schwatka and Johnson define leadership as an activity that is characterized by an
individual contributing to the motivation of a subordinates or followers. The motivation
happens naturally and is aimed at the achievement of a common goal.
The individuals who are responsible for achievement of company goals and objectives are the
employees or workers of an organization, the leader is the brain behind the operations.
“Capturing the mindset of being prepared to inspire people” is one of the most appropriate
definition of leadership.
There are various types of methods that are applied in leadership. Leadership is based on
various types of ideas.
The leaders are individual who are responsible for shaping organization and communities and
also nations as a whole. Hence, the need for an efficient and knowledgable leaders is evident.
Following are the vital qualities of a leader;
Courage-Being courageous defines a true leader and it is something that is necessary in order
to carry out diverse operations in various settings.
The courage of the leaders help in satiating the needs that are associated to the respect that
the leader receives from the employees.
