INTRODUCTION
• Positive leaders build on negativity to create new positive outcomes. The concept of
positive leader was introduced by Kim Cameron and according to Cameron positive
leader have an affirmative bias and they should focus on capabilities and strength and
on confirm the heights of human potential. The PPT is based on positive leader
characteristics of police officer. This presentation will evaluate the most suitable
strategy that a positive leader can use to improve the productivity and well-being of
employee i.e. police officer.

 Positive leadership can be define as a pattern of behaviour of leader that promotes both
positive ethical environment and positive psychological capacities.
 The main purpose is to foster self-awareness, internalized moral perspective, to balance
information and communication process, enhancing self-development.
 The main task of police officer is to protect the citizens and maintain law and maintain
order in society. Police officer must possess leadership skills that allows them to
connect with the wide range of demographic level and dedicated to serving the public.

A positive police leader should have leadership quality that lead them to do their job and
serve local community effectively.
It is essential for effective leader to delegate the responsibility and honest and motivate the
subordinates and encouraging new ideas to the agency.
