This presentation discusses the importance of positive leadership in proactive maintenance engineering. It highlights the need for leadership skills in addition to technical skills, and the qualities required for a maintenance leader. the leadership capabilities.
 As the maintenance and reliability professionals the individuals
have all the needed knowledge of technology but less of
leadership or management (Hooi and Leong 2017).
 The technological knowledge does not help in management,
especially when it is the matter of Proactive maintenance
engineering.

leadership skills and technical skills to successfully lead his team.
