INTRODUCTION
Teaching plays a critical role in learning. There are various students that are being
indulged in unproductive behaviour and teacher must use their philosophy to manage the
students (Richardson and Mishra, 2018). This essay is based on the intervention on unproductive
behaviour. In the starting of this report there is discussion related to the philosophy being used.
Afterwards, the approaches that are learnt at the time of professional experience. In the end, there
is a plan that shows hoe the interventions are being used and aligned with philosophy.
MAIN BODY
An introspective reflection on your own teaching philosophy and how this guides approaches to
intervention.
Unproductive students behaviour shows that the students are avoiding the classwork and
are not engaged in classroom activity. It causes problems for teachers as working environment of
class gets disturbed (Hadwin, Järvelä and Miller, 2018). I understood that taking care of all the
students and engaging them is important. I worked to align all the students in the class so that
they are able to understand the concepts and achieve career goals. There is need to use right
philosophy so that the students are able to be disciplined in class and try to understand the
concept. Philosophy guides the teacher to deal with the complexities in the classroom. It helps
address all the issues that are being faced by the students. The students can be given such
authority that they are able to work according to themselves. They are unable to manage their
behaviour and this causes misbehaviour in classroom. I analyse the students that are good and let
them sit with the students who misbehave in the classroom. It will help them to get inspired with
the students so that they are also able to learn effectively in the classroom. I also conduct
meeting with them privately. In private meeting they share all the problems that are being faced
by them (Adedoyin, and Soykan, 2020). Along with that, I will be able to share good and
effective strategies with them that will to learn in class. I will help them to differentiate between
right or wrong. This will assist in taking right actions so that they are able to behave properly in
class.
I also reward the students if they are attentive in class and read properly. It is necessary
for the students as they get rewarded with the good work that is being done by them. It gives
motivation to the students so that they continue to work good. Along with that by punishing them
