INTRODUCTION Communismisreferredtoanideologywhichfocusesoneliminationtheeconomic inequalitywhichhasbeenpersistentinthesociety.Thisideologyriseduringindustrial revolution when business owners tend to exploit workers for economic gain and did not compensate them well. This assignment consist informationmajor components of communism and also talk about various political issues involved in it. MAIN BODY Historical origins of the ideology Com Communism is not similar to socialism but are similar on the ground of ideology as they both promote equality in terms of economic. However there is an equal reliance on the political and economic grounds as this ideology supports the fact that privately owned businesses should work for the welfare of the people. Major components The word communism originated from the Latin word 'Communis' which means This originated during second half of 19th century and invented by two people Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The major cause of establishing this theory is the injustice which carried out during Capitalism era. The workers were exploited beyond limits which gave rise to such philosophy encouraging equitable treatment on political and economic grounds. 1
There were numerous proponents who supported the ideology of Communism along with Karl Marx. One of the early supporter of this philosophy is English philosopher Sir Thomas More through development of a society where there is no existence of money and people live in a very cordial environment. The another person who argued in favor of communism is Vladmir Ilich lenin, he lead the revolutionary communism in Russia. He envisioned the theory and modified in Lennism. He also stated that it is not possible to practice communism in capital based countries as people are more conscious of the their trade union efforts. Mao Zedeng is one of the renowned leader who led communist party named as People's republic party in China. The philosophy have been implemented throughout and have been successful in bringing out cultural revolution in the country however it has led to millions of death. Fidel castro is one of the contemporary examples of communist revolutionary. With the help of this philosophy, he was able to overthrow military rule in Cuba in the year 1969. He had formed his own strong follower ship who believed in his approaches of doing a task and was successful in restoring the balance. Disagreements within the ideological traditions within communism The ideology of communism is a philosophical movement which leads towards the development of communist society. Thus ideology is strongly followed by its thinkers as it helps in create a stateless and classless society. But like any other ideology, this one too has various disagreements which are provided by thinkers of democracy and socialism. The most essential disagreement which has been most talked about by capitalist and socialist authors is elimination of free market. In the pursuit of communism, the free market has to be eliminated which implies the laws of supply and demand will not set the prices of commodities traded in market as government will hold all the rights to decide the prices of goods. In such environment, earning of fair profit is difficult and satisfaction of consumers will never be acquired as there will be no feedback on the set prices. Another disagreement which infringesthe basic right of a citizen is there is no freedom of speech in communism states. This ideology restricts the basic right of an individual due to which they cannot express their ideas and thoughts in public due to the proponent that people must express the views which are in the favour of community and not the individuality. 2

This ideology oversees the basic philosophy that it is not important that every individual has similar take on the ideological traditions. Another disagreement of communism is in the favour of nations which are culturally diverse. In this contemporary world, there are only few nations in which all the citizens follow same religions or culture. Communism is an ideology which states that all the people of nation will follow same rules and regulations and for a nation with culturally diverse environment, it is nearly impossible for every citizen to follow same rules when their origin, religion, culture is vastly diverse. Also, such nations include population which is difficult to be controlled due to the high number of people combining a nation’s population. Therefore, central planning is difficult to achieve. From the eyes of a nation’s economy, the first most disagreement which tends to be observed is that needs and demands of consumers are not taken into consideration and there is no concept such as consumer satisfaction. A nation which follows communism will focus on producing the commodities which are only essential for consumers and it does not have do anything with their desires and needs. In such scenario, communism will never satisfy the needs of consumers as business in such ideology are owned by the government and it is in their control to decide which products will be produced and will which be not. Political issues in ideology Concept of communism is a one that believes that by eliminate private property societies can attain equality at social level. Concept of Communism is totally different from socialism. Both these concepts inspired different political and social movements since 19th century. Political culture is not a new in social sciences. In recent time, use of this concept is increase in which the issue of continuity versus change is raised. Some states are that in which authorities claim to have defective decisively along with political behaviour and beliefs. Major two reasons behind increase the use of political culture in recent years is that it has slowed from a renewed in instability and stability of regimes and in the relationship between societies and regimes. In most of the cases the capability of constitutional structure is was in doubt. An underlying pattern of expectations and attitude towards government was involved that 3
appear to understand properly. In communist states the degree of attention given to political culture skipped from the societies. Main feature of communism is that it ensures elimination of property in land and applications of all rents of land that are related to public purposes. Further, it ensures increase graduated income tax, also ensure equal liability of all to industrial armies to labour. CONCLUSION From above analysed economic point of view, in the case of communism not only the consumers but workers are also not satisfied. Satisfaction is a sentiment which is achieved when needs of an individual is fulfilled. In the case of communism where there is no motive of profit making, workerscannotbesatisfied;whichwillalsoleadtodifficultywhileachieving productivity and efficiency. 4
