INTRODUCTION
Understanding and analyzing the external factors before any decision is taking is very
important in all the organizations. HEINZ belongs from the food processing industry which is
having its headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company is dealing in products like
sauces and condiments from 1869. The poster is going to discuss the political, economical and
ecological factors of the industry.
POLITICAL
The political stability is present in the country which is why there are better decisions and
laws which are being followed in the company. There are a lot of changes like labour laws and
information to the customers which the company has adapted so that there is going to be better
functioning (Vida and et.al., 2019).
ECONOMICAL
The costing of the labour has increased therefore the profit margins of the company have
fallen but the demand for the products are high which makes the organization have a good
economic factor. The GDP and product’s demands are high globally which is why the
organization has been able to operate and price the products well.
ECOLOGICAL
Heinz has taken measures to have a free carbon footprint in the market so that there is
going to be better branding of the organization in the market (Dahal and et.al., 2017). Due to
increase in global warming and carbon emission it has been very difficult for businesses to
develop new products which help to protect environment and it is also increasing the cost of
producing and reducing the profit margins negatively.
