OBESITY
Childhood obesity has intensified to
9.7% from 9.5% in the year of 2018-
2019 (Flint, Hudson and Lavallee, 2016).
The ratio of childhood obesity increased
to 20.2% in the year of 2018-2019.
The ratio of boys is 10% whereas girls is
9.4% in the year if 2018-2019 as
compared to year 2017-2018.
In the first report which was issued
by NHS in the year of 2006
children were from the age group
of 10-11 those are suffering from
childhood obesity.
In the current time 1 child in
every 5 from primary school are
dealing with problems of obesity.
Besides this 1 out of every 3
children in secondary school are
facing issue of obesity (Lanigan,
Tee and Brandreth, 2019). This
is being analysed that for year
2020 half of the children from
overall population are
overweight and dealing with
childhood obesity in UK.
