INTRODUCTION
The post-operative care is defined as the care which is required by the surgical patient that need
support and requirement of care. As per this, the post-surgical patient requires support and care
with their need which majorly focus on the various aspect such as medication, drug dose and
frequency. In this, the postoperative care is the care which is receive by patient during the
completion of surgical procedure. There is various type of postoperative care which is require
and depend on the type of surgery that they take which is bilateral knee operations. It is based on
the pain management and wound care which is require by patient for the safety compliance. In
the need of family inclusive support and nursing consideration which is helpful for the patient
safety for the rising issue of infection and wound care support. In this report, the discussion is
based on the various complexities which is associated with the patient after the surgery. In this,
they include various high risk complication. Moreover, they require proper support which is
applicable in such a way which help to deteriorate the risk which is associated with the patient.
However, the family support is also mentioned which play vital role in the deterioration of risk
and consequence which is associated with the post-surgical patient (Alpendre and et. al., 2017).
MAIN BODY
There are some of the common postoperative discomfort which is associated with the patient
in ward which is transfer after the completion of surgical procedure. Moreover, there are some
amount of discomfort which is occur during the surgery and depend on the number of thing
which mainly include the type of surgery which is perform. In this report the bilateral knee
surgery is taken with the respect with patient who is transferred in the ward. In addition to this,
the typical discomfort is usually including nausea and vomiting form the general anaesthesia,
they have sore throat which is usually caused due to the place of windpipe in some of the cases
for the breathing the during the process of surgery with the patient. In this. Soreness, pain and the
swelling is also observed around the incision site which is associated with the patient.
restlessness and they are related with the sleeplessness due the anxiety and pain which is occur
during the cycle of operation or the surgery which is perform with the patient, other common
complexities include thirst and constipation and gas which is known as flatulence (Chughtai and
et. al., 2017).
