Personal and professional development plan helps the individual to grow at an efficient
rate in the upcoming future. There are various career opportunities on which the the person can
capitalise and build better future. Various skills needs to be acquired like communication,
problem solving etc. to achieve an overall growth (Bukharina, 2018). The report aims to analyse
about preparing a personal development plan to achieve an continuous growth in the upcoming
future. On the other hand, there will be swot analysis based on the skills and to improve personal
performance in higher education. Along with that, there will be critical evaluation of issues and
problems explored and the impact on the planned continuous development plan activities. For
further instance, in this report there will be brief discussion about development of transferable
and employment skills based on the engagement of the programme learning.

Swot analysis is a tool which helps the individual to evaluate various factors to achieve
an overall growth in the future. It is a method for identifying strength, weakness, opportunities
and threats. The main focus is to develop various strategic goals in order to evaluate various
career opportunities to shape the future. The factors of swot analysis are described below:
Strengths – There are various strengths of myself in order to achieve an overall growth
in the future. With these strengths I can perform the work in an effective manner. The main focus
is solve various problems by assessing the situations appropriately. The skills which I acquire is
time management, and effective decision making (Coombe, 2020). These skills are crucial top
achieve success in the workplace. While working in the organisation there are various
opportunities on which I can counter effectively. There are various academic areas on which
these skills can help to improve various aspects. The skills are as follows:
 Time management - This skill helps me to divide the assessments and finish my work
prior. The main focus is to maximize the efforts to complete the work with effective
time management. Growing these skill can also help me to become more efficient in
various situation. When I choose my career path these skill become effective for the
workplace. I can manage my work systematically and achieve an overall growth.

 Decision making - This skill helps me to asses various difficult situations. I evaluate all
the factors and think clearly by enhancing the thoughts and vision in an effective
manner. While working for the organisation in the future this decision making skills
helps me improve the productivity of the workplace (Dublin, 2021). On the other hand,
there are various challenges which could be overcome with the help of effective
decision making.
 Creative – This skill suggests that the person needs to be creative in terms of adapting
to the new places and innovating different ideas. Whenever I use to do my assignments
I use this skill to make the assessments more creative. To improve this skill I enhance
my knowledge and asses various critical factors. In the future while working for the
organisation this skill can help me to achieve an overall growth in the workplace. The
main focus is to become more creative to maximize the profits of the organisation in an
systematic manner.
Weakness – This factor helps the individual to evaluate in which areas he is lacking. The person
can improve these areas to achieve and efficient growth in the future. There are various areas in
which I lack the most common is oral and written skills and leadership. These weakness are as
follows:
 Oral and written skills – Whenever I do certain assignments I do various mistakes and
grammatical errors. This is the weakness which affects my work and the assignment was
rejected by different professionals and I get a lot of negative feedback on my work. It
effects my academics and it future It will be big problem because I cannot perform the
activities as per my full potential. To improve this skill I enhanced my knowledge and
make the improvements as per the given feedbacks to improve the assessments in an
effective manner.
 Leadership skills – This is the most common skill which could me become more
productive and effectively communicate with other individuals. While working for the
organisation in the future leadership skill helps me improve the productivity of the
workplace. I can help the employees to overcome different challenges. This skill will lead
me to attain an effective growth for the future. There are various opportunities on which I
can capitalise and help the organisation to achieve their goals and objectives in the
industry.

 Teamwork skills – This skill help the individual to work in an effective manner while
performing the activities (riye, and Keller, 2021). There are various goals and objectives
which could be achieved with the help of skill in an systematic manner. This is the major
skill in which I lack I can perform effectively with the team. I finish my work work
earlier but in cannot work in various group activities. It can affect me in the future as the
organisation needs to improve the productivity. To achieve various targets they need the
team to perform in an effective manner.
Opportunities - This is the most important factor in this tool it helps the individual to capitalise
on various career opportunities and achieve an inherent growth (Kim, and et.al 2021). There are
various trends which are changing in the market. The organisation needs the candidate which
posses different skills in order to carry out the workplace operations effectively. There are
various career opportunities on which I can capitalise based on the essential skills. I had the
inherent knowledge of artificial intelligence as most of the companies are implementing new
technological factors in the workplace. This is the best career in which I can give tough
competition to other candidates. There are various other skills on which I lack. The organisation
could help me to improve my knowledge and enhance my skills with the right guidance. The
competition for the job is increasingly high for the and I understand the dynamic market. This is
the quality which gives me advantage over other individuals. Handling the artificial intelligence
takes different skills and the use of the software. I can handle it very effectively which could help
the company to manage the workforce and carry out the business operations more appropriately.
Threats – There are various threats in the market which can stop the growth of an individual.
They can asses various factor to minimize the impact (Kolb, and Kolb, 2018). The organisation
needs an individual which needs to perfect in very manner. There are various skills in which I
lack and pother individuals can give me tough competition for the suitable job position in the
company. The organisation keep changing their way of doing operations. This is the major threat
for me I cannot adapt to the new ways of working. With the changing marketing trends the firms
adapt themselves to become more profitable in the market. They can change the working style of
the employees and they had to adapt to the new changes. This is the serious threat I cannot adapt
to the new changes and the working style of the company. This will affect my career in an
negative manner. There are various factors which I needs to observe to improve this factor
systematically.

Personal Goals
I want to achieve a position of product manager in the future. The next 2 years will be
very crucial it helps me which skills I need to acquire in order to get this position. I want achieve
an efficient growth for the future.
Smart Objectives
 Specific – To achieve this post I had to acquire different skills which helps me attain
overall growth in the future. This specific goal is the main motive of my future to achieve
this possibility I had to work hard in an effective manner.
 Measurable – To achieve this objective I had evaluate different strengths and
weaknesses in a systematic manner. Analysing the critical factors could help me to
achieve the goal at a very fast pace.
 Achievable – The postilion of product manager could be achieved whenever I inherent
different skills. It includes skills like problem solving, time management, leadership, oral
and written skill etc.
 Relevant Goal – The main goal is to become better and achieve higher position in the
coming years. In the coming year I had to enhance my knowledge and grow my career in
an significant manner.

growth and appropriate knowledge.

weakness can cause different problems. There are various issues described below:
 Time management – Managing the time is an important factor which I need to develop.
It can hamper my work and it is stopping the full potential attaining the objectives. This
is the main issue which can stop the growth. The issues can hamper the overall
effectiveness of the work . There are various assignees which I need to complete due to to
poor time management skills I fail to submit the assignments.
 Oral and written skills – This is also an important skill the main issue is I lack in certain
points(Williams, and et.al 2020). Whenever I complete my assignments there are
different things which I feel is missing from my content. Written skill is crucial which I
need to develop in the upcoming future by enhancing and improving my knowledge. The
written skills are important in order to complete assignments.
 Leadership skills – This skill helps the individual to achieve an inherent growth in the
future. The min focus is inherent an systematic leadership style and approach in the
workplace. To grow this skill I need to indulge myself in doing various improvements by
assessing various factors. This skill can help me to achieve an effective growth in the
upcoming future. Effective leadership can help to overcome different challenges and
significantly improves various aspects.
Transferable/ employability skills
Transferable skills are known as portable skills the individual can develop these skills to
grow at an efficient rate in the future. The main focus is to carry out the operations more

 Leadership – Leaders has the most important role in the organisation. They need to
manage the operations of the workplace ion an effective manner. The individual needs to

employees efforts (Shay, 2019). I need to inherent to manage the operations in the
company. With systematic leadership techniques I can help the organisation to generate
more revenues in the market. There are various factors on which I can capitalise to
maintain the organisational stability in the industry. Most of the organisation are
changing their way of carrying out their operations in the market. They had the urge to
provide maximum customer satisfaction. The organisation needs effective leaders I can
use this opportunity I can manage different individuals effectively. On the other hand,
there are different relevant measures which I can take improve the effectiveness of the
leadership style.
 Communication – Effective communication plays a major role in improving certain
areas and help achieve an overall growth (Sundman, 2021). Most of the organisation
searches for the candidates which communicate with the other employees effectively.
There are various individuals in the market which acquire this skill. This skill could help
me manage all the employees and implement an effective communication with other
employees. Effective communication also helps me to maintain a healthy environment in
the workplace.
