1. INTRODUCTION
The process of reflection involves analysing, evaluating as well as describing a person’s own
thought, beliefs, perceptions, assumptions. Reflective learning explains the concept of studying
a person’s own experience in order to improve the way they act and work (Beech, McGill and
Brockbank 2017). It has been noticed that, the process of reflective practice helps to improve a
person’s personality as well as personality by increasing the confidence and also make the
person proactive. Moreover, reflective practice is mostly adopted by the leaders for self-
improvement and self-assessment (Stewart 2014). Furthermore, the process of reflective
practice enhances the process of understanding, learning and teaching along with this, the
process plays a vital role in the professional development of the teachers. In addition to that, the
process of reflective practice can be classified as one of the major tool in the practice based
professional learning, where unlike a formal learning and knowledge transferring method, the
person learns from his/her own experience (Bierwolf 2017). With the introduction and
implementation of proper learning method, the issues occurring during the reflective practice
process can be minimized.
According to me, a master’s degree in the project management can help the student to learn
many things in the course work of PPMP20008.
The important two lessons learnt that has given emphasis in the discussed paper are the
valuable support and proper motivation from the leaders and supervisors in the information
collection process.

I collected and identified the

Gathering the required
information and data related
to the project was the effort of
the entire team and the tutor,
who was also the supervisor
for the project.
I documented the lessons
according to my plan, in form
of soft copies. I was involved
in updating the collected
information throughout the
learning process.

3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
During the entire session, I
felt that the class room
training was good. However,
the online lessons provided
by tutor was not that inspiring
as I used to face late
feedback issues and
sometime due to the software
problem It was taking longer
to get the study materials.
This situation made me feel
unsatisfied as getting late
study material hindered my
study and the late feedback
somehow demotivated me.
One of the major thing i learnt
from the entire session is that,
classroom study is more
effective than studying online.

3. What I learnt from
reflecting on the situation
In the entire learning session
i got to know that my tutor
was a great motivator and
only because of his
motivation i and my team
members could be able to
keep track on our
responsibilities towards the
project.
The situation made me feel
really happy. The motivation
by the tutor helped a lot in
getting back my self-
confidence. Not only in the
ongoing sessions, but also in
the exam my supervisor
constantly motivated me and
my team members.
I have learnt from the session
that effective leadership, team
management and proper
strategies can trigger the
situational issues.

6. CONCLUSION
Therefore, from the above discussed session of lesson learnt, i got to know the effectiveness of
good team participation, motivation along with effective leadership quality, which are the vital
elements in order to the successful implementation of any kind of real time project management.
Moreover, one major thing that i realized during the session is that, in case of lack in any kind of
discussed element, the entire lesson will fail to reach at its objective.
