1. INTRODUCTION The process of reflective practice is referred to as a life cycle approach that is used for self observation. Throughout the course of PPMO20008 the students are required to conduct self assessment to make sure that, they have learnt all the necessary elements. It is realized that if self assessment is conducted successfully then learners will be able to improve their professional practices. Both external and internal assessment will help the learners to learn details of the course work. Reflective or self assessment practice helps to improve the self confidence of the learners. In addition to this, the learners will also be able to identify the hidden assumptions successfully. For the graduate students the reflective practice is very helpful. It helps the learners to identify their strength and weaknesses an also help to increase their self confidence. The activities served by the learners will become more effective than previous. Being enrolled in the Masters of Project management course I can say that after successful completion of the project I would be able to learn many professional activities that are needed to successfully accomplish any project. The two different lessons those I have learnt from the PPMP20008 course are -1) Lack of leadership and 2) Team engagement 2 LESSONS LEARNT: FRAMEWORK 2.1 How I planned to gather and document lessons learnt When… I planned to identify and collect lessons learnt Who… I planned to involve in the process of gathering lessons How… I planned to document lessons I planned to identify and collect the lesson learnt throughout the PPMP20008 project management course session. CONCLUSION From the above lesson learnt discussion it can be concluded that successful team engagement and leadership will help to keep all the team members motivated and engaged to their assigned responsibilities and roles. The leadership strategy will again lead, guide and motivate the rest of the team members successfully. I also feel that, effective leadership and motivation strategies are interconnected to each other which mean that leadership can lead team members towards their roles and responsibilities. 4
