Project management is the planning and
execution of projects as a team that are can
aid in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the
team or the organization.
I have learnt that the projects must always
be tackled as a coordinated team.
Therefore, project management is
necessary to facilitate the complete
execution of the project.

I have experienced that a project is termed
as successful when we have completely met

project that was aimed at creating anti-
smoking awareness. We worked as a team
of five people to approach strangers on our
school campus and outside on the streets to
explain the reasons to stop smoking.
It was successful as after three months, we
took feedback from the same people that
we approached and they reported that they

Why?
No, they are not the same. Project management is aimed at managing
the projects such that the project has a
successful outcome. Project success is the
outcome that we receive when proper
project management is applied.

 Lack of the necessary resources to

 The methodologies that have been
applied are in conflict to the project.
I have learnt the changes to the scope
creates confusion about the nature of the
project’s outcome. The correct amount of
resources is necessary to complete a project
otherwise the project faces problems. The
methodologies that are must be in
alignment both the project or it creates
conflict.
Can anyone be a

managers would
make good project
managers?
No, anyone cannot be a good project
manager.
Functional project managers will not make
good project managers.
In my experience, I have observed that a
project manager must have the necessary
skill set and a knowledge of all the areas for
managing a project.

therefore they cannot effectively manage
