some specific project process and areas by which this project is proceeding. Key
project areas and process are given below:
Project planning: It is the starting area of the project in which research and
assessment are done on the NPR of Brisbane which helps to identify and
selection of the area where this project can be implemented. Project initiation is
the key part of this starting phase of the project which helps in the proper
planning on the development of the project (Smith, 2002). The Brisbane airport
authority has researched properly to select the area for the development of the
new runway and designed the runway which has maximum utilisation of the
land and lowers environmental impacts on the airport during the flood, sea level
rise and storm surge.

implementers which support in the implementation of the project effectively.
Portfolio management process: It is a process which works to save the interest
of the investors in the project. NPR of Brisbane is a huge project which has need
of big investors so this process is effective to retain their interest in the project.
