Mystery box
For Toy design PPSY001 assignment, Me Mustafa Daryabi and Qaeef Ibrahim we working as
a pair for designing toy for 12-year-old female based on Piaget formal operational
stage.We have created a toy for our targeted age, and it’s named as Mystery box,and it
come with another box which called prizes box.
Sustainability with Mystery box toy is considered from designing the toy to producing
the toy that we have designed. We designed mystery box by the practice of utilizing
materials in a way that it can meet the needs and demands of the present as well as future.
As we considered cardboard on making this toy it made the toy recyclable which is the best
option for environmental safety. As we designed the Mystery box in which players is
motivated for the activity by an interest in the process and tend to look for problems to béproblems ́ to béproblems ́ to be
solved by using this toy. Some creativity techniques are used that do not only focus on
finding solutions for problems but on exploring the solution space around ideas. By
designing prizes box beside of Mystery box, we wanted to consider play value for players the
overall enjoyment of a child with toy. The price of Mystery box is very affordable for parents
to buy a toy with which their children can play together and learn something.
The toy is designed completely safe and can not cause any hurt to a 12-year-old
female. Mystery box does not contain any features that lead to physical or emotional
damage to a child as it designed with cardboards and other safe materials in an appropriate
way. The toy designed without any sharp edges to prevent from unintentionally injuries of
