INTRODUCTION
The digital marketing refers to an instrument that is being concerned with the company's
marketing with an use of computer or internet technology as well as of smartphones, iPhones or
with other forms that give access to the channels of digital media. This is because it provides
assistance in promoting company's services or goods for high revenue generation. Social media
marketing carries a special place in the lives of human beings without which no life could not be
imagined even for the companies also (Azzahra, 2020). Social media carries the features of
digital marketing that is being present to businesses as well as to the common people. The
present report is being developed on the concept of digital and social media marketing, with their
practices as well as guidance n order to conduct organizational marketing in an appropriate
manner. Other than this, the concept of communication and marketing mix are also mentioned in
the present report. The significance of digital marketing and the social media marketing in
relation of companies are being highlighted. Last but not the least, the screenshots related to the
activities of marketing are evaluated with the effectiveness of social media platforms.
TASK 1
Meaning of Marketing
According to the Chartered Institute of Marketing the concept of marketing as an exercise
that a management does for handling the responsibilities of evaluation and assumption along
with a mix of fulfilment of customers needs. This allows to have high competitive edge over
rival firms. According to Philip Kotler, marketing is an art as well as science that is executed to
have formulation, execution, expansion as well as offering the high values to customers carrying
an objective of meeting customers needs and wants. The concept of marketing assists businesses
in order to identify their target market that suits best to the organization while offering their
items or services. In general terms the marketing aspect determines the specific tasks that could
be analysed for the company's purchases, sales as well as for the promotion along with delivery
of company's offerings in effective manner so to earn good profits. The marketing actions
demonstrates the constant process which is conducive in nature and focuses upon satisfying
customer needs & requirements, so to carry some alterations based on it (Chaisit, Pansuwan and
Isaranontakul, 2020).
