INTRODUCTIONNursing is one of the activity that is very essential at the present time period in healthcare sector. This is the act where collaboration of cares to individual of all the ages areperformed. It basically focuses upon the promotion of the health issues and preventing of onefrom various diseases and health related problems. Many a time in Australia shortage ofmanpower takes place in health care organisation which is one of the major concerns in thenation (Britt and et. al., 2013). Due to the shortage of workforce number of programs has beenintroduced by federal government of Australia. There are many plans that are made so thatdevelopment of nursing practices can be motivated and encouraged in country.In this assignment, different model of health will be discussed that will be affecting thepromotional acts of health will be discussed along with that applications of several standards willbe described. Current perspective of nursing will be considered here to understand the norms andpractices that are carried out in the cited nation (Australia).TASK11) Major health service modelsThere are number of models of health that is having the influence on health promotionalacts. It is very essential for the health care homes to take in consideration about these models sothat they can be able to practice effective nursing activities. Models of health are said to be as theconceptual frameworks or all the ways of thinking about the health (Buckle, 2014). There arebasically three models of health- Biomedical models, Social and Ottawa charter for health. Themajor two are as below-1.Social Model- This is an approach that is focusing more upon the influence on healthinstead of any kind of injury or diseases. This is an aspect that is considering the fact toprevent one from various diseases and illness. BenefitsAwareness and educations are availed to public so that they can be able to preventthemselves from various diseases. It helps in motivating and encouraging people to own the responsibility for their ownhealth. 1
