Thus, the set goals which have been purposed to be accomplished must be developed in a SMART way: The set of goals need to be specific. As prospective nursing professionals in pre-clinical practice, nurses with high level of shyness and complexitiesmust aim to improve their communication skills to establish smooth and comprehensive communication base with patients and supervisors belonging to diverse cultural backgrounds. For seeking for the key to a quality patient encounter, nurses will apply BATHE (Background, Affect, Trouble, Handling, and Empathy) method which will have open-ended conversations with patients particularly to successfully connect with patients and increase their comfort level while they are undergoing tumultuous care encounter (Akturan et al., 2017). Due to increasing level of misinterpretation while dealing with patients of diverse ethnic backgrounds of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and otherAustralianpeople to avoid any form of uncertainty and disorder in providing efficient

The goal is measurable.Reading journals related to BATHE method and attending local community events will facilitate the level of understanding to overcome nervousness and complexities while communicating with patients and co-workers. The exchange of feedbacks and genuine reviews from colleagues would help in understand the progress and further assist in releasing the position within the team.Additionally, regular leadership development sessions alongwithmotivationalclasseswouldalsoprovideprospectivenurseswitheffective management and awareness of their competencies and recognize level of skills which can be attainable. Goal can be attained.Nursescanattainthesegoalswith thehelp of advanced technology which will help them to obtain access to various blogs, evidenced based studies and videos of BATHE method related to effective communication. Meanwhile, efficiently attending motivationalclassesandleadershipdevelopmentcourseswillhelpthemimprovetheir professional as well as social interactive abilities. The goal is identified to be relevantas these leadership training courses and visiting local community events will help them in understanding characteristics of diverse individuals. Alongside, watching videos of BATHE method will provide significant avenues of learning effective ways touse open-ended conversationswith patients andcan value fundamental reason for patients’ concerns and doubts about the treatment procedures. Lastly, the time frameof the goals will be three months.
