INTRODUCTIONWind farm is a land of area where multiple energy producing wind mills or turbines aresituated in order to produce energy or electricity (Modi and Yan, 2016). Building a wind farm isa complex procedure which requires multiple sets of operations; most importantly, conducting apreliminary investigation (Saddler, 2017). The aim of this present report is to do an economicfeasibility test regarding the wind farm at a specific location of South Australia. In this report Murray Bridge is selected as the location which will be tested that whether ornot this area is suitable for building a wind farm or not. This file includes a preliminaryinvestigation which has activities such as creating a histogram for analysing speed of wind in oneyear. This report also includes multiple calculations which will support the end result. 1. ANNUAL DISCRETE WIND SPEED CALCULATION WITHHISTOGRAM AND PROBABILITY DENSITY FUNCTIONAnnual average wind speedWind speed is the rate at which air moves in an area. Murray Bridge is a city in SouthAustralia which has average wind speed. The below data in below data is generated from thewind database of Australia. The below information is related to the year of 2014 (Wind speeddata, 2014). Wind speed procured from database has been discrete to the nearest integer andsorted according to the occurrence in a year. In this, it is assumed that the turbine will be buildand placed at a smooth hard ground.
