INTRODUCTION
Preterm birth is the single biggest cause of neonatal morality and morbidity in UK, where
there has been significant rise in UK over the last 10 years. There are estimated 60,000 babies
that are born prematurely in UK every year, where it means that there is 1 in every 13 babies
born in UK that are premature and this has been significantly rising within recent time. Newborn
infants face anemia, breathing problems, infection and newborn jaundice which further
significantly rises risk of death in babies and improper development. Research will shed light to
bring on detailed analysis on examination of facts, significant aspects further leading ton new
untapped information research for gaining data, information in shape. Premature babies have
impact on their development, where their upbringing faces difficulty and less healthy body.
Research proposal will be bringing on detailed working scenarios, of latest scenarios where
methods to be used in research will be correlated to bring on detailed affirmative analysis done.
The research will be taken place, due to significant rise in numbers of pre mature babies and
premature babies where there has been also functional importance for taking new steps. Research

will be analyzing reasons which lead to premature babies and significant aspects, further
correlating active focus on recent healthcare changes which can be built on. Furthermore, study
will also discuss in detail varied factors which led to competencies for strengthening wider

Rationale for research
The rationale for research can be understood with high scale importance significantly
correlated with an increase in premature babies in UK, where there are varied healthcare aspects
declining further leading to babies’ death. The topic for this research has been taken due to
fundamental increase in significant aspects, where premature babies death are increasingly
becoming common in UK. There has been rapid rise seen in premature babies in country, where
data reveals that rate of premature births has climbed to 36 percent since 1980. This has further
lead to leading cause of death among new born and major cause of long term disability
parameters, significantly further leading to rapid risk on their health. Rationale for this research
can be also understood with significant health priorities parameters, where UK aims to bring on
decline in premature baby’s numbers and for further bringing on larger competent scenarios
