E-portfolio is a collection of evidence which is present on electronic which is going to be
usually present on the web. Platforms online have to be used to be able to express themselves
which is going to be higher operations. Portfolio is going to help in learning and spreading
awareness of strategies and needs which is going to be present and that is going to be a great
factor to be able to achieve the tools and objectives. Reflection and comparative research has to
be done effectively so that there is going to be higher outcomes which are going to be required.
There is a lot of improvement on the learning and development of myself which has
improved so that there is going to be higher understanding. The further report is going to discuss

Development and improvement in a lot of skills have to be well maintained so that there
is going to be effective working which is going to be present in an individual. The skills which
are mentioned above are going to be having higher results and that is good for the overall
development of the organization. Purpose, accuracy, authority, currency, etc. are going to be
discussed in the CRAAP test so that there is going to be higher skill development which is going
to be present in Article summary, The effect of social media on mental healthme (Lewis, 2018). I
have understood and made sure that there is good development which I have gathered as
mentioned above and that is going to be a great factor. Mind maps have to be made which I was

not aware about but now know this factor effectively. I have started to make noted and know the
importance of survey and be able to conduct that as well which is going to be a great factor for

Comparing webs is another skill which I have developed over the time so that the best decision
and analyses which I can give out and also make sure that there is good presentation which is
taking place of the work which I have been given so that there is going to be effective working.
The outcomes have to be higher and also make sure that there would be better working which is
going to be present. Styles of learning has really helped me be able to learn and develop a lot of
skills which would be a great factor for the career development as well (Amaniyan and et.al.,
2020). Academic keywords also were highlighted which I was not aware about and a lot of
improvement in the overall survey and research is visible.

Reflection on 12 evidence
Vark learning style: There are mainly 4 types of styles of learning that can be used and
adopted by people as per their behaviour. All these styles are: visual, auditory, reading and
kinesthetic. In visual learning, students and people learn with visual objects, graphs. Auditory
learners increase their skills and learn by listening or hearing information, presented to them. In
reading and writing, student learn materials by reading and writing. In the last type kinesthetic
style, learners take active participation in learning process (Espinoza-Poves and et.al., 2019). I
prefer reading and writing learning style as this style improves my writing style and also makes
me able in paraphrasing and critical evaluation. By making use of Skimming and scanning ways
of reading I increased my learning. These styles save time as we only focus on important things.
Harvard referencing: After completing project there is requirement of referencing in
order to show readers that all information are being gathered from appropriate sources. It
improves image. In Harvard referencing, main body of the project is being cited with the name of
author followed by the date of publication. The reason of selecting this topic is having
knowledge and ways of referencing for making any study accurate and authentic. I came to know
that with Harvard referencing and proper citation we can protect ourselves against plagiarism
and readers also find easier in knowing about sources related to information.

Academic Keywords: In regard to key terms I can say that it plays a vital role as
important or key terms highlight and show the main concept of research. Readers and peers can
know the importance and all detailed information with keywords without even reading the whole
project. The main reason of choosing this topic by me is helping out myself in the future in
developing project (Müngen and Kaya, 2018). I learned about ways of making use of keywords
and how on the basis of keywords we can develop our whole project. I learned the best way of
choosing keywords for academic writing. I also found that by making appropriate use of
keywords we can increase the number of readers. So, overall I can say that for making my future
research searchable and effective I selected this evidence.
University writing style guidance: There are different types of writing styles such as:
analytical, descriptive, critical and persuasive. But it becomes difficult in selecting the best one
and completing project as per the selected style. So, I selected this evidence or topic for helping
out myself and others in completing their projects in an appropriate manner and in effective
writing style. University writing style guidance help us out in selecting appropriate method as
per the topic of research or project (XU and ZHAO, 2017). It also tells us appropriate way of
making use of writing style. I made some projects with the help of writing style guidance and it
made me able in making projects successful and accurate. It boosted my confidence and I can
say that by making use of this guidance, students can reduce errors.
Evidence of small reflection of one of your experience: Reflection is one of the best
way of knowing our strengths, weaknesses and overall effectiveness. When we reflect on our
experience then we analyse ourself at the same time, and we feel the same experience. It helped
us out in knowing that where we went wrong, which skills play a vital role and how these skills
can help us out in the future. By reflecting on one of my experience of completing project on
social media effects, I want to tell that initially I faced some problems in searching appropriate
article. After taking help of my seniors I selected the best one and while making project, I get to
know that writing skills play a vital role. After completing project, I also found that critical
thinking is the main key as it helps us out in knowing positive and negative aspects of each thing.
It increased my decision-making skill. For better reflection we can make use of Gibbs reflective
and other models.

Research skills -developing a basic survey questionnaire: In regard to research skill I
can say that it is the main common skill that is required for making a successful project of any
type. It is the main skill that required in all fields. It helped me out in gathering or collecting
effective information relevant to my topic (Garg and Passey, 2018). But I found that I am lacking
behind in this skill to some extent as I take too much time in gathering relevant information in a
timely manner. I selected this as an example as when we develop basic survey or questionnaire
then we require identifying appropriate sources. While conducting questionnaire, I learned about
types of data by researching and conducting questionnaire.
Article summary, The effect of social media on mental health: Summary of article
also helps readers in knowing all information that have been used in the whole article. For
selecting articles for academic writing, we do not require reading the whole article as with the
summary we can know that what have been included in the article. For example: I selected
effects of social media on mental health and there are several articles are available. But by
reading summary in which they told about main points like; depression, increased risk of anxiety,
self harm, loneliness, insomnia and others. By reviewing all main points in summary we can
select better articles (Suarez-Lopez, Gross and Lee, 2019). It helped me out in summarizing my
project that can encourage readers for selecting my project and approve it.
Evidence of note taking Cornell method-Note taking is other effective way of
increasing learning and memory. Practice of record information from different sources in own
words is known as note taking. Evidence suggest that handwritten note taking improves learning
and help learners in remembering all learning items for the long run rather short duration. I
prefer Cornell methods in note taking because I believe that this method because it helps us out
in noting down important things or bullet points on which basis we can describe materials in
detailed manner. It helped me out in visually organize my notes and also quiz myself later. It
saves time and helped me out in learning or remembering all learning materials till now.
CRAAP test: It stands for currency, relevancy, authority., accuracy and purpose. This
test and focusing on all these point we can provide any type of test effectively and can also make
project with efficiency. For giving any type of test and making appropriate use or selection of
sources, there is requirement of analysing whether sources have currency, accuracy, authenticity

or not. I believe that all these elements help us out and prevent us from failure of project and
errors in project. The main reason of selecting this and writing about this element is helping out
others and making them aware about it. By focusing and considering all these factors, we all can
select relevant sources and gather effective information.
Mind map: Mind map is an effective tool or diagram that helps all of us in organizing
detailed information. Mind mapping helped me out to the great extent as it increased my
understanding (Chang, Chiu and Huang, 2018). I learned the best way of connecting ideas and
by knowing their relation, I got achieved goals and got better results. In the context of
effectiveness I can say that this tool and strategy will definitely help me out in completing
critical projects by breaking down them into smaller and easier parts. For helping out others and
making aware to others was the main reason of selecting this.
Comparison of two websites: Comparison of 2 websites also play a vital role and it
requires skills of critical analysis. The main reason of comparing 2 websites and selecting this
topic is making use of authenticate site. There are some tools are available online that helps us
out in comparing 2 websites and letting us know about authenticity and accuracy. For comparing
2 websites, we all require having critical analysis skill. In the online tool of first box we need to
write the URL of the page that we want to compare and in second box, we need to enter the URL
of the page, need to compared with materials (Toepfl and Litvinenko, 2018). So, I can say that
this ability makes us our project accurate and successful.
Presentation skills: After making project in written it is important for all of us to present
project in front of others in an effective manner. I believe that presentation skill is must as it
helps us out in improving our communication as well as public speaking skills. For delivering
information to public presentation skills are required. I took an active participation in group
meeting and asked my tutor for giving me chance for presentation. In that presentation I found
that I have fear of public speaking. I also found that lack of presentation skill have negative
impacts on others ( etin and Eymur, 2017 ). But by practising in the front of mirror and
communicating with all my friends and colleagues, I improved this skill and it boosted my
confidence and morale as well.
