Introduction
There exist wide range of skills which are needed by individuals when they enter within
professional career. Learning needs continual emphasis from people and enables them to acquire
ample of knowledge with respect to the field. Experience and skills together aids to clearly
specify requirements of professional for growth (Groth and et. al, 2020). In addition to this,
professional academic field needs uninterrupted learning of different skills. The reflection is
illustrated like a journey for incorporation of skills along with future steps that will enable to
attain all objectives and goals.
Reflection
Explicate how as an individual developed like a learner, explain with examples.
Each individual needs to emphasise on individual objectives as well as goals through
which they can grow continuously. This involves skills needed for field in which individual is
looking forward to acquire in future. As a learner, it has been identified that there are various
skills on which I need to work on to have a good professional life. One of the essential skill that
each individual must possess is communication. The way in which information is being
transferred or shared between individuals is referred to as communication. It becomes important
to voice out or speak up opinions while being a part of group. I have to work on different factors
that comprises vocabulary, pitch, sound, speech, body language, gesture and many more so that
effectual interaction occur. The way individual presents themselves creates enhanced impact on
kind of communication that takes place (Powell and et. al, 2020). I have acknowledged
importance of communication and I have made sure that I will be working on all these aspects
and be presentable as well as confident to keep my opinion in front of others. For acquisition of
this skill I have started interacting with peers and also took part in different activities within the
class. Reading will aid within enhancement of vocabulary. Teachers also guided me to follow up
right path and I was also a part of listening like any speech or conferences which occurred.
Communication not only involves what I have to say but also comprises of what others are
saying and understanding it. This will enable to enhance the perspective of thoughts and react to
it accordingly along with this I will be able to acknowledge how others respond to me.
Presentations acts like a great way for development of listening skills as different queries are
being raised through which my listening abilities will be improvised in an effective way.
