Rapid technological development affected areas of employment and its fair share is also visible
in job market. This is because the demand has increased for technological jobs and Technical
skills are highly valued in current job market. This demand is likely to increase with increase in
technological development and their increasing utilisation in business organisations. Job
opportunities that are likely to be there in future will mainly based on science, technology,
engineering and mathematics. Along with this demand for jobs in specialist and creative field is
also likely to increase in future. In order to prepare for the new opportunities it is important that
students and individuals focus on developing technological skills and also on developing
creative skills.

This blog is about event when Google visited London school of science
and technology to speak with students about Google career, value
management and strategic direction. In this event Google Elijah Lawal,
UK and IE Communications manager discuss his role in managing the
voice of Google and open up the floor to take numerous questions from
LSST students. Students asked questions about strategic plan of the
Google and regarding artificial intelligence integration with its products

and services.
During the events different students ask different questions and this
block also so give information about perception of Google about jobs
and employment within organisation. Google is one of the biggest
employer and it is also one of the organisation where everyone desired
to work. In such a situation this information is very useful for students
about how they can develop themselves to be your potential and

This is a blog that is about London made winter graduates who were
breast at London Metropolitan University winter graduation ceremony
and were recognised for their distinctive creativity and ingeniousness.
This blog includes different information and usefulness of graduation
day and why it is important for students. On graduation day LSST
students can revisit their achievements that they have accomplished
since they first arrived and how much they have developed as an
individual and as an part of academic community (Jha and et.al., 2019).
This blog also includes importance of graduation celebration and along
with students how it is important for families of student that travelled to
London from all over the world. Block also gives information about
different activities that to please on that day this includes drink with
option that was followed by graduation ceremony.
Graduation is very important event of life of students and this blog

Leadership and self
development
Leadership and self development is one of the most important attribute
because it is one of the most important attribute that is in demand for
employment. Leadership and self development enables individual to
have several opportunities in different areas of employment.
Leadership is an attribute that involves several other skills and
knowledge in individuals, because of this they can get several
opportunities. Leadership skill includes communication, people skills,
motivation and influential skills.
Creativity Creativity is also one of the very important attribute because it is also
in very much demand in employment. Creativity has become part of
every type of job regardless of their nature. In addition to this creativity
also enables individual to create opportunities for them rather seeking
for job in different organisations.
Social and ethical
awareness and
responsibility
This is also very important not because it is required in employment
but this is also a trait related to good human beings. Social and ethical
awareness and responsibility of individuals suggests that they think
about society and other individuals and about environment along with
looking for their individual well-beings.

Reflection
There were various kinds of materials that were studied by me during this project
that helped me in supporting and developing my employability skills. There are 10 main
kinds of artifacts that helped me in bringing improvement within by current employability
skills. Personal SWOT analysis was one of the most important artifacts that helped me
in bringing improvement with my current skills and knowledge. Personal SWOT analysis
helped me in understanding my main strength areas, helped me in identifying my main
weakness areas that were required to be worked upon and improved. Further it also
helped me in understanding future opportunity areas that can help me in developing a
successful career and threats that can work as a barrier in my successful career. This
SWOT analysis provided me a visibility so that I can plan by successful career
accordingly. Personal development plan was another artifact that was most important
for me to become an employable graduate and increase by employability opportunities
because it helped in developing a plan though which I can work on my weakness and
threats for improvement where I can identify action required for developing personal
objectives by using appropriate resources and also helped in identifying time period in
which these skills were required to be developed. Reading log weas another important
artifacts that helped me in understanding ways in which I can continue planning for my
career even in current situation of Covid-19. It helped me in planning my reading
schedule in such a manner that even in this current Lockdown situation I can continue
working on current skills, enhance knowledge, work on placements, and find suitable
job in this Covid-19 situation.
Most importantly one of the main artifacts that helped me was resources for job hunting.
Resources for job hunting helped me in identifying that there are various kinds of online
resources that can be used by me for searching for job as per my current skills and

knowledge even in this Covid-19 situation. This further helped me in identifying skills
and knowledge that are mostly preferred by organizations in this current period. Other
than these Academic resources were another important artifact that helped me in
identifying that any kind of secondary resources required for enhancing knowledge and
employability skills can be accessed online as well from various kinds of online libraries
such as BNU E-library, Google Scholar and many more. In this project one of the
artefacts was description of job specification and personal specification. Description of
job specification helped me in identifying requirements of job, skills required within
different kinds of job etc. It further helped me in identifying by personal specification so
that I can compare whether my skills match with a particular job or not. Other than this
in this project I also learnt to write a blog and what is that importance of writing a blog.
For example I wrote a bog on ways in which we can prepare for Future job market and
use it fir grabbing new opportunities.
