Introduction Every student gets an experience when he/she works on a module (Gibson and et al., 2017). This essay is based on my experience of working on my module. It will discuss about how is developed myself and how will I manage future challenge while studying in University. How and why I developed as a learner after working on this module Continues learning is important for every student as it help then in upgrading their skills (Maltoni and Lomonaco, 2019). When I started working in this module, I was not aware of many things. But gradually I learnt about basics that are very essential for surviving in institution. Betterunderstandingoftopiclikepresentation,referencing,academicwritingandtime management assisted me in becoming self reliant as earlier I had to seek help of my friends and other classmates for small issues. I never thought that these small skills could affect my performance at University. For example, when I started making presentation the main issues was formatting and inappropriate use of various features of the MS presentation. I practiced a lot and made many PPTs only for the purpose of practice. My continuous efforts resulted in development of presentation skills; now I can make a decent Power Point presentation without help of others. Similar to this, I had no idea about referencing styles. This module taught me about how to find and use authentic source for any content. I learnt about Google scholar and how it works. This knowledge will help me in my rest of academic career because now I am aware of referencing system which is essential need of almost every assignment. Writing an assignment is different from other forms of writing like article or blog writing. I was at beginner’s level in academic writing when I started this module but after its completion I have much better understand of formatting, tone and other theoretical concepts. I have worked on other modules also but this was most important for me because it helped me improving knowledge and skill of basic concepts. It is very clear that I developed a lot during this module; I acquired diversified skills which is difficult to obtain from other modules. My whole experience tells me that if someone can manage his/her time then he/she can always get an edge over others. Radical change in my knowledge and personality happened because my time management skill got improved. Earlier I use to waste a lot of time on unproductive activities but when I made a schedule and followed it
with discipline then I got surprising results. Now I have some basic rules which I will follow in my whole life. Beside development of diversified skills, this also help me in understand importance of analyzing own work. Other modules are “subject specific” and they do not force me think about my personal development. But, this module taught most important thing of my life i.e. how I should study. We all know that learning is essential for survival but how should we learn is not a popular thing in education system (Willetts, 2017). I filled this gap after completion of the module. How will I approach future challenges and expectations of the University Course? It is important to learn from present so it can help us in future (Kurunsaari, Tynjälä and Piirainen, 2016.). I know that I am going to face difficult challenge in upcoming time as my University course will put me in a more complex situation so I can succeed in upcoming time. But, with better skills and knowledge, I am going to cope with these challenges in a much better way. This module improved me from grass root level and my approach will be different in forthcoming time. Whenever I will have to write an assignment, I will first read my lecture slides and then I will take help of internet. With better understand of Google scholar, I will fulfill expectations of my tutors by providing them authentic sources in my assignment. Group and individual presentation is always a big challenge for students as it check multiples skills in few minutes. This module improved my presentation skill; I have to do some work on communication then I can easily make and present anything like poster, leaflet and PPT in front of others. My tutors and University expect me to perform well and I also have my own expectation formyself.Thismoduletaughtme to reducemy dependencefromothers;soforevery academic project I will follow a simple approach i.e. one step at a time. I know that I do not have all the knowledge and skills which will be required in future but I have confidence that I can learn them. Instead of trying to meet all of my expectation altogether, I will break my work small pieces and then daily work on them. I think that this approach will be successful for me as now I have better understanding of how to manage my time. With discipline and better time management skill, I will work hard to get good score in entire subjects. I will also concentrate on completing my assignments in given time and by scoring well. This simple approach will make things simple for me; it will indirectly improve my technical as well as interpersonal skills. Normally I start working on assignment when deadline
