APPENDIX 1:New Features of MS WORD (RM Unify version) Dictate Function The MS word has different features among which the Microsoft word offers the powerful automatic speech recognition feature in the form of dictate function. This respective function is operated by choosing the audio from the computer microphones and then transforms it into the text or words. This function is available on both desktop version of the word and online word version. The process or steps of using the dictate function is : but this option has limit as only few paragraphs or sentences can be dictated at a time and then it stops automatically so that dictator can review the texts for editing. HOW AND WHY 10 ENCLOSED ARTEFACTS HAVE SUPPORTED THE DEVELOPMENT OF MY EMPLOYABILITY?(500 words) From the above 10 artefacts I was able to develop my employability skills to great extent. The artefacts where developed under the parameters that has a potential of making me learn and develop some new employability skills from my future job role. The artefact 1 on features of MS word supported me to develop knowledge in the technical background and also helped me to enhance my MS word skills. From the artefact 1 the most important think was my technical skills which are highly important in current employability criteria. Moving ahead from artefact 2 that requires me to have deep insight my personal skills and abilities helped me to enhance my personal reflection skills. This also supported me to analyse my weaknesses in some employability skills that can be mitigated through my strengths. Through artefact 3, I got a wonderful opportunity to develop or enhance my above mentioned weakness that helped me to develop employability skills like leader's skills, team working abilities, risk taking skills and flexibility. Through this I also developed time management skills as the personal development plan was time restricted. Through next artefact I developed my career planning in the situation of global pandemic by improving my communication skills. The artefact 5 was paraphrasing log 2 that supported my analytical skills to review the links in order to summarise it in my own words. For the effective employment in multinational firms or for me to search jobs I must have knowledge of different job hunting portals. Thus, through artefact 6 I learned about different job hunting portals such as LinkedIn and its advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, with the artefact 7 that was about bucks graduate attributes and it's importance was extremely supportive to develop some key employability skills such as problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and most importantly developed my knowledge of discipline and ethical competency in professionalism. My most important and favourite graduate attribute is problem solving skills which I have developed precisely in order to perform my job role effectively during my employability period. In appendix 8 that was about academic resources I learned about variety of resources and their advantages and disadvantages. Different academic resources such as formative and summative feedbacks where huge support for me to develop my employability skills of how to develop feedbacks. Group work was also an academic resource that was useful to me to develop team working skills. In the appendix 9 I gained the skills to develop job description and person specification which are important for me to learn in order to work as HR in future job profile. This artefact was useful for me to understand the need of transferable skills in order to improve my employability skills to stay competitive in future and also convert high pay job.
