To make a bright career individual must concentrate on their available resources.
Present study will evaluate various resources for employment related purpose. Furthermore,
job description and personal specification will be prepared for human resource assistant ideal
job. It will further explain resources availability during graduation and their uses.
TASK 1
Evaluation of sources for employment related purpose
Each person aims to get good job after completing their education. After graduation
person finds some job opportunities from their individual can start their career. There are
various sources through which individual can get information about employment and can
move ahead in their career (Figgou, 2020). These are described as below:
LinkedIn
This is most popular networking sites that is mostly used by job seekers and
employers both. This is the site that gives information about company, its potential, co-
workers potential and working areas. By this way person can review own potential against
the vacant post and can apply for suitable job (Westat–Lebanon, 2020).
Advantage
This is the network site that creates more networking opportunities for users. By using
this website employers can evaluate ability of candidates and can hire the best and
deserving candidate in organisation.
LinkedIn gives new updates to all users and categorise the information according to
industry hence applicant can easily apply in relevant industry. By using this
application individual can share their experiences and advices to sectors to gain more
opportunities (Azad,Ali and Sahidullah, 2020).
Profile update option is another great advantage of this LinkedIn application or source
as potential candidates can view the requirements of professionals and they can
update their profile accordingly so that more employers can make contact with them.
Individual can get virtual idea about profile making on this site and individual can

background of previous job and experience as well.
This works as search tool as individual can get information about interviewers, hiring
process etc. That becomes easy to get suitable job (Alagappan, 2020).
Disadvantage
User who is using first time this LinkedIn site face many issues, profile setting for the
first time is quite difficult as many components are involved into it. Individual must
have profile and profile strength. User need to spend too much time to create a
professional profile. Hence this is very time consuming process and it is difficult to
use for beginners.
As there are many content available hence it sometimes decrease interest of others on
their LinkedIn profile. If person is sharing too much information then no one will take
interest into it. Employer may feel frustrated if they found user with overloaded

User who is using that site have option to submit their feedback. Thisis the site that
gives information related to interview questions, salaries etc. Individual can gain detail about
benefit of employee in particular company, culture of firm etc.
Advantage
One of the main advantage is using this application is that it gives all detail about
questions that would be asked by employer in interview round. Employers post their
previous interview round to indicate others about the process of recruitment. User can
not comment on this interview round but can get idea about entire process. There is

GlassDoor is the site on which job seeker can get information about salaries offered
by employer. Salaries are highly depended upon the experience of person, abilities
and educational background. Individual can add these elements as base to assume
how much salary will be offered by employer to them in particular industry.
Position review is another benefit of using Glassdoor site, In this site person can get
review of employers about particular post. That means they share their expectation

Disadvantage
Poor advance searching facility is the major drawback of this site. There is minimum
filter option. Due to which many times employer fails to get most deserving
candidates out of available many.
Absence of employee verification system is the major drawback that sometimes
creates problem for employee to get suitable job at right place. As individual can
submit their review once in a year that means if initially person is happy and later on
if individual is facing any trouble then this experience cannot be shared. Hence

Indeed is another popular site that provides information of employment to most of the

Advantage

Poor layout is drawback of this site as it sometimes make the user negative towards

Ideal job
I have completed my graduation in commerce. After completing my graduation I have
done my MBA (Masters in business administration in Human resource field). I want to work
as human resource assistant in big organisation. HR is responsible for hiring of good talent
and retaining employees so that productivity of firm can be raised. Human resource assistant
needs to look upon the performance of each employee in business and have to take care of
their needs (Golden and Eddleston, 2020). If person is happy in the firm then individual will
work better. Hence management of employees is the responsibility of human resource
department in company. I have undertaken the courses from the varied management institute
to enhance the skills and proficiency to excel human resource proficiency. Hence, I have also
undertaken the internship from competent organisation that has helped me to grow my skills
in the more effective manner. In the internship, I have learnt varied things that can assist me
to do the things in proper mode. With the help of this internship, I have enhanced my skills
and also developed managerial skill that assist me to manage the all over activities. This kind
of the learning has helped to develop my future capabilities. So, I felt that I have better
knowledge and skill to carry out the Human Resource working. This is the field that is very

challenging because nature and behaviour of each person is different hence management of
employees is not so easy. For that HR must be discipline and must be dedicated towards
work. Apart from this, there must have knowledge about HR policies and practices so that
employee management can be done effectively. With the help of undertaking HR courses I
can able to do the things in proper and efficient mode.
I studied about human resource management and worked as part time workers in HR
department in small medium organisation. This is an interesting area to work for me.
Working as a part time worker in HR department in a small organization helped, he to learn
and different categories and work of HR. one of the main benefit of working within a small
organization was that now I have knowledge of different kinds of work which is carried out
within a HR department. This has increased by focus towards of becoming a HR assistant
within a big organization. Not only this working within a small organization also helped in
gaining more knowledge and understanding about different kinds of HR policies and
practices. Development of required knowledge and skills in his field has also helped in
increasing my interest in this field and has made me more confident and determined that I
want to become a HR assistant. Hence my ideal job is to become HR assistant in company
(Rossenkhan, Au and Ahmed, 2020).
Job description
Job description is the written document that describes skills, role, and responsibility of
person to work on particular position. This helps to having up to date, accurate,
professionally written job description in critical aspect to enterprise ability to attract the
qualified candidates, establish job performance standards and also helps to set the goals to

more about companies. In the college student must be connected with teacher so that they can

In the present era, the company wants to hire those individual who are skilled and
talented. This can be achieved if the student continually looks over his knowledge and
proficiency. Thus, practices and discipline to accomplish something can be helpful to get the
proper and better result. This would be better in presenting own self in great manner in front

websites that can be used for searching for a desired and idle job. I will register on one of the
online job board, build my resume and update skills that I have. this will help me in selecting
all the jobs that are suitable for me. It is one of the most effective resource of search of
human resource assistant job in a big organization. Professional networking sites like
LinkedIn is another best available resource that can be used by individuals for searching for
their idle job. I will login to one of the most commonly used Professional networking sites
i.e. LinkedIn which top employers post job vacancies present within their organization.
Building an account on LinkedIn will help in searching for my ideal job of human resource
assistant in a large organizations.

From the above study it can be concluded that individual needs to focus on their
studies and have to utilise available resources in effective manner so that individual can get
