Primary health care can be simply defined as an essential heath care that is formulated onthe basis of scientifically good and socially accepted methods. This made universal health careapproachable to each and every individual and families in a community. Primary health care isimportant that is accessed by all people throughout the globe, by complete involvement and at aprice that can be afforded by community and nation (Harrison and et. al., 2011). It is supportingto minimise the work pressure from health care centres. This supports in solving health problemspresent within a community. The present report is based on primary health care in context ofAlbury Wodonga. The significant objective of primary health care is providing good health to all. There areother five aims of PHC which is made by the World Health Organization. The first one is toreduce rejection and health disparities of society. Second one is to arrange health services on thebasis of requirements and needs of citizens. Third one is integration of health into overall firms.Moving on the fourth aim, it is reformation of leadership and fifth one is increasing theinvolvement of stakeholders.Ottawa Charter was formed in the year 1986 at first International Conference on HealthPromotion. Charter discovered different determinants of health and give five main principlesregarding the same. Such principles are listed as below:Build healthy public policy: For improving the conditions of health, it is important todevelop the policies at all levels. It consists of fiscal measures, organizational change, legislationand taxation (Drummond and et. al., 2015). Policies are required to determine the obstacle ofhealth and try to eliminate them by creating healthier choice and the easiest one. Create supportive environment: Environment and health conditions of people areclosely linked with each other and needs a socio ecological approach to health. Maintaining thesurrounding reciprocally is the leading principle. Work and relaxation should upgrade health andshould not relegate or demote it. Strengthen community actions: Actions of communities can be strengthened byinvolving the community in making priorities, setting strategies, making relevant decisions andexecuting those for improving the results of health. Develop personal skills: It needed the provision of education, information and life skilldevelopment (Mason, Leavitt and Chaffee, 2013). This enhances choices and control for allpeople over their personal health. It is important to fit people for life by increasing learning and1
