Scope of Project
The project scope involves implementation and designing of the network for a primary based school.
The design components include critically includes several strategies and skills for implementation to
create a design of a network that is better. The project is being exercised depending on the
requirements basically provides knowledge of implementation regarding several schemes for IP
addressing designing and implementation that entirely depends on the requirement of the network.
The project network is developed eventually for network simulator understanding NetSim that is
generally used for purpose of implementation. At the finish of implementation of project knowledge
used for a scheme of addressing, the scheme of designing of the network, implementation of
security and configuration of tech terms that are required to be measured.
The requirement for the Project
For real-life project implementation, the software that is required is NetSim that is generally an
application of Boson Network Simulator. This software delivers a great variety of switches and Cisco
router. The elements describe are configured and arranged in particular way which comprises of all
high requirements for designing of the network in the project of primary based school that is
achieved. Below described are some requirements of the network:
Design network: The design network should comprise of the number required and network
related designing which is proposed over software of network simulator that is Boson
NetSim.
Subnetting: For primary school networking 10.0.0.0 IP is being used for the process of
subnetting. The subnetting of the IP is done using the CIDR scheme according the number of
hosts requirement.
Marking of strategies is done for developing guest users so as to access school-related FTP
services for the school. No other services of the application rather those services of FTP are
made accessible. Access list is generally configured for a firewall security (Eskandarpour, M.,
Dejax, P., Miemczyk, J. and Péton, O., 2015).
Design of the Network
Network designing defines the planning regarding the implementation along with network-based
infrastructure related to computer. This task is performed by various network designers, software
engineers, associated staff, and IT administrators. This gets implemented according to network-

IP Address Scheme
The primary school network is being addressed depending on the network related requirement. A
table is created for the following network that mainly includes 3 of the departments that comprise
of LAN department, Guests department and server department:

provided mask will grant four different IPs for one of the networks, it has IP that is last for remaining
two broadcasting host. It provides a classless scheme of IP addressing that is used by the server that
is CIDR.
In the situation of LAN and guest network, the mask of the subnet is 255.255.255.192 and
255.255.255.240 that mainly provides 62 and 14 hosts of addresses of IP. LAN and guest network IPs
are mainly subnetted by using classless scheme for addressing of IP (Yang, Guo, and Ma, 2016).
