INTRODUCTION
Principle of care refers to an effective concept that explain the way social, health care and
early years suppliers should behave towards in individual care. In this a person who represents as
a care taker can treat an individual person in an effective way that should look as a best interest
of the individual. It includes the several aspects such as partnership, dignity, interdependence,
privacy, respect, safety, confidentiality etc. In the principle of healthcare effective
communication can play a vital role because without it no care can be done by the care person.
This essay report is based on the importance of principle of care that helps in reflecting the best
health and social care of a person. This report elucidates maslow's need hierarchy theory in
relation to a personal care of a person. Further it includes impact of policies, legal impact on
vulnerable people. All these aspects helps in enhancing knowledge related to principle of care
subject. It also elaborates ethical issues that may impact principle of care of a person and at last
present a reflective statement by using Gibbs model so that individual strength and weaknesses
are understood properly which helps in capturing opportunities prominently in professional
career.
Outline importance of principles of care
Principle of care includes the varieties of determinants that includes choice,
independence, dignity, privacy, inclusion, confidentiality, partnership etc. it is generally based
on the rights of human. In this it is very essential that a care worker is need to understand the
client and their problem so that offering empathy would be easy. The major aim of the principle
of care is to improve the life of their clients(Yin and et. al., 2019). It may contains some
importance that plays an major impact on the life of people which can be shown below:
One of the major importance of the principle of care is about it highly focus on the anti
discrimination that means a care person cannot discriminate person to person. Which
denotes that each and every one get equal treatment that also allow the independence
without referring to the another person. In this one person can be recognised as a worthy
where no one can judge the another person who need care on the basis of their caste,
colour, religion etc. For instance- In this a care taker can provide the proper care to the
needy people without any discrimination. In this a person can belongs to a vulnerable
category and another one is the high class society, both get the equal treatment as per
