INTRODUCTION
The services that are provided by health and social care to the individuals by taking care of their
dignity, diversity, self respect and privacy are detailed in this report in form of leaflet. To avoid any kind
of harm or mentally disturbances there are several facts that are taken into consideration by health and
social care. Also, the policies and procedures that impact and conflict that arise while providing service
are discussed in this report. The organisation of health and social care that are considered in this report is
NHS. Incident of child’s physical abuse is discussed in this report by personal decisions which personally
taken care of bringing out the efficiency.

2.1 The implementation of policies, legislations, regulations, and code of practice that is
relevant to own work in health and social care.
For the effective performance of health and social care by maintaining the self esteem and respect
for the life of people Government of UK has enforced certain legislations, laws, policies and procedures.
But some people are left in the home care due to being disability or mental sickness or may be of
financial liability. There is separate code of conduct, legislation and ethics enforced by law and the
guidelines are
Appointees and agents: Residents appoint the appointees and agents as the nominees. For the
facilities of the homecare of NHS and national association of care catering pay for the fees or any
other payments of the residents comparing to National association of care catering. Social service
department select and decide the nominee in case there is absence of friend or relative to the care
needy patient.
Safety laws: There are certain rules and regulations that are framed and followed strictly by NHS
in order to avoid any mishap that can happen in the premises. Comparing to other organisation
and national association of care catering safety laws are followed and performed strictly.
Power of attorney: In case of old aged member being incapable for performing the transactions
of financial the authorised to agent are allowed to perform on behalf (Drummond and et.al.,
2015). This is termed or known as power of attorney. All the roles and responsible actions are
performed by authorised individual.
Trusts: The role of trust is to manage the financial transaction of old aged person if suppose, the
authorised residents have huge amount of assets and found incapable to take care.
