healthcare organisation. Further, the theories that underpin health and social care practices will
be examined in this report. The roles and responsibilities of team leader working in healthcare
organisation will be assessed in this assignment.

2.1 Five important Code of Practice
As a social care team leader, the code of practice will help in providing the knowledge and role
which is expected to played in the health care organisation. The five important code of practices
which follows in Residential Care Home are listed below:
1. Protect rights and promote interest of service users and carers: The code of practice
will assist the health and social care workers to protect the rights and provide them
effective quality of service.
2. Strive to establish and maintain the trust and confidence of service users and carers:
The health and social care worker must build the relationship of trust with the patient in
