INTRODUCTIONThe below report explores the importance ofhomeostasis and controlling factors in thebody. The report explains the principles of homeostasis and the role of organs in maintaining thewater potential of a human being (Ciresi and Giordano, 2018). Along with it, the report exploresthe importance of positive and negative feedback system within the kidney and explains theirvery basis in maintaining the function of the body.TASK 1Q1. Principles of Homeostasis and in what manner the system functions to correct a fall in corebody temperatureHomeostasis refers to the “same state” which refers to the process of keeping the internalenvironment of body in a steady state. Below mentioned are its principles:Detection by sensors in the hypothalamus:At times when the blood glucose levelsdeviates from a NORM or set point, the appropriate mechanism is triggered. Under whichthe appropriate mechanism is triggered.Coordination by the hypothalamus:During the case of the regulation of glucose theincrease in amount of glucose triggers the process to decrease it.Responses by effectors:It is important for Homeostatis to involve fluctuations, it is onlyby deviating form the NORM the mechanism needs to be brought into play.Change in body temperature (detection by sensors in the skin):It is important for thefeedback system to have receptors and a control mechanism, along with the effectors aswell.3
