Question 1
There are many principles of management which can be applied by an organisation so that
work can be completed on time. Some principles of management are, division of work,
discipline, authority and responsibility, unity of direction, unity of command, remuneration,
centralization and decentralization, subordination of individual interest. According to Steve Jobs,
principles of management should be applied but leadership style must be used so that there will
be no confusion and work can be completed on time (Church and Alford, 2020).
Steve Jobs suggest autocratic leadership style to be applied because it helps in
accomplishing targets and goals of company can be achieved. According to Steve Jobs there are
some management principles which help in running business smoothly and beneficial in growth
of organisation. Principles of management as per the view of Steve Jobs are, do what you love,
think something different from others, kick start your brain, sell dreams, not products, create
insanely great experiences. These are some management principles according to point of view of
Steve Jobs. It is important to focus on these points so that organisation can run smoothly and
satisfy needs of customers. When principles of management are applied then it is beneficial for
organisation and helps in performing better than others (Eichhorn and Towers, 2018). It is
important to focus on management principles so that work can be completed on time.

There is some purpose of management are, it helps in getting maximum results with
minimum efforts. The main purpose is to secure maximum output, in this minimum efforts and
resources. According to Mintzberg 1989, it helps in distributing roles and responsibilities among
employees and manage all the activities properly (Komarova and et.al., 2020). Purpose of
management includes function of managing such as, planning, organising, staffing, directing and
controlling all the activities. It is important to make plans or strategies so that better products can
be provided to customers and helps in building good image in minds of customers. For achieving
targets, it is essential to make plans for growth and development of company. The main purpose
of management is survival of company, to earn profit and for growth of organisation. It helps in
providing direction to employees and managers can control all the activities. It is also beneficial

in making plans which is beneficial for growth and development of company. According to
Mintzberg 1989, there are three roles like, interpersonal, informational and decisional.
Management helps in identifying strengths and weakness of company, better products can be
provided to customers and beneficial in development of firm. It also helps in achieving group
goals and integrates resources.
Question 3
Principles of management helps in providing direction to employees and controls all the
activities so that work can be completed on time. It also helps in forecasting, making plans for
future growth of company, good decisions can be taken, coordination among employees. It is
important for an organisation to apply some management principles to avoid confusion or
misunderstanding and better products can be provided to customers. Different authors have
different point of view and all are sharing their views (Morden, 2017). Management principles
help in managing all the activities properly and better decisions can be taken which is beneficial
for growth and development of firm. For accomplishing goals and objectives, managers should
apply some principles so that work can be completed on time and there will be less chances of
mistakes.
