INTRODUCTION
The report aims to provide the importance of principles of management. Management is
the key of business which include functions like planning, organising, staffing, controlling and
monitoring. All these principles are given by Henry Fayol. Management functions are applicable
at all filed or areas whether to live life or run a business. It performs the functions in a
systematic way and focus on relationships, effectiveness, efficiency, social working and hence,
overall development of an organisation(Russell, and Ottow, 2021). Therefore, this report is
going to be a reflective paper on the comparison on contemporary and traditional approaches of
management. Also, there will be personal reflection about the knowledge gained during the
projects and feedbacks done in weeks. There will be evaluation of the areas which require
improvement and ideas for its development.

Major development in history of management in contemporary and traditional approaches
Management is the success factor for an organisation. It consist effective principles that
aid in formulating policies and strategies for maintain a positive work environment. Planning,
organising, directing and controlling are the key functions of management given by Henri fayol
(Reynolds, 2017). I have learned that, these principles works on different situation and for
different purpose. The organisation work as per the decision and guidance of managers set
according to each department. It is necessary to create a positive management environment in
which all planning has done to prepare strategies to give overall directions of work. Organising
resources such as man, equipments, materials are also a managerial function. Leading and
controlling are refers to ascertain any mistakes and work should be done under supervision. It
reflects that, proper structures is crucial to manage people and their job role. Therefore, from the
feedbacks which I decided on showing purpose of management in actual practices (Keeling,
2018). I gained knowledge that management is really applicable and helpful to provide practical
solution. A proper management leads to improve coordination, workplace disciple, achievements
of objectives and gaols. Also, I have gone through the historical and modern classification of
management. By the time, many things and procedures have changes a lot. as every time, new
technologies, provisions and market uncertainties influence on an organisation. Due to which,
