INTRODUCTION Principles Of marketing refers to those set of basic 4 P's that include product; price ;place and promotion and their implementation in an effective manner with the goal of promoting the digitalmarketingandlaunchingofadevelopmentplanforanewproduct.Thechosen organisation is L. G. Here, my aim as a research and development manager was to make a research in respect of LG's new product that is required to be launched. GIBB'S Reflective Cycle It is a model that lays its focus on the help of people by learning from the practical situations that are being experienced by them regularly (Salman and Broten, 2017). It especially, happens in the situation when, the circumstances are not in favour. The project done by me and my team was in respect of the electronic gadget. The five stages that are involved in doing this project are:- Description:-I was in a team of eight members and have taken a task in respect of the new product development of a brand that is L. G. I was assigned the role of marketing manager. Here, I was accountable for doing the research and development in the market in respect of the needs and precise wants of customer. And all my team mates were performing different tasks. Someone was performing the task of finance; operations; sales; human resource (Doppelt, 2017). Here, I was looking after, completely in respect of the ways to meet out the needs of potential customer. All my team members were very happy from my performance and I was given appraisal. As, I was having experienceof working in Sony previously in the research and development department so, that experience has helped me here a lot. The problems that were faced by my team mates and me was in respect of the availability of resources that is required to be there. According to my analysis, those who were in finance and accounting department were having issues in respect of the availability of data in respect of those expenses that were incurred at time of development plan of new product. Those who were handling the sales department were having issues in the respect of how much target is required to be achieved. The production department was having issues in the respect of the no. of units that are required to be produced.
Feelings:-It includes, all the experiences in respect of development plan of a new product. My feelings in respect of the assigned task were really good. I was feeling great at time of doing the research and development in the respect of the new product launch of LG. My team was planning of launching a product, that is fully automatic works as per the needs of the ultimate customer. I was just trying to identify and analyse whether, the customers are satisfied by using the products of the previous organisation or dissatisfied. Before, working in this respect, I was truly unknown about the research and development. After, doing the research and development in respect of LG's upcoming product, I was feeling, as if I have achieved something in terms of knowledge (Lopez and Wise, 2015). In my opinion, other people will definitely, switch to this product, by the score of, LG's product will surely cater to their needs. Evaluation:-After the successful accomplishment of this, assigned task, I was feeling that, people were happy from the survey conducted. the personnel that had gone to them for just asking few questions in the respect of whether they are satisfied or not. I also observed that, during the survey or the research that was going on in respect of bringing the new product before the customers, I just took the name of the Brand and the response of the buyers was like:- yes, we are ready to purchase the product of this brand. During the research, I and my team also observed that, there are some people that are very much strict and loyal towards using some other brand and simply denied by listening that, we were not going to switch to any other product (Espedal, 2017). Conclusion:-After doing the research, what I personally felt and observed in the respect of LG. was- it provided people more comfort and ease of doing things in a proper manner. By doing this research, I found that, there is a lot of difference between team working and the individual working. By working as an individual, I learnt a lot of things in the respect of which, I was unknown. After, the accomplishment of this I came to learn all those things in the respect of which I was not having any idea (Boyatzis and Cavanagh, 2018). The project helped me and my entire team in the learning of all the new things and has also improved a lot in the respect of brining new skills and techniques of launching a product by doing something innovative and unique. The plan of launching a new product has encouraged us and also improved our creativeness in respect of performing the same task in a completely different manner. Next time, if I would be getting a chance in performing the same task again, then, I would be using some different skills that would not be used or implemented by me this time. I am required to work more on the data management skills; understanding and implementing of data in an effective manner (Daft and Marcic, 2016). I would like to improve my computer operating skills that would help me in a better way in future. Moreover, I would like to work on the good organisational skills and in accuracy in research. Action:- In this case, my action plan would be to bring in use such type of skills that I was unable to bring in use before. In such case my action plan would be to use my computer knowledge, my skills of the data management and problem solving in an effective manner. My plan of action would be based on such a way that, I can use in understanding of the data in the best and effective manner. Here, my entire focus would be on the monitoring and forecasting of the needs and the demands of the customers in an effective manner. Along with this, I would focus on the effectiveness of the marketing plan and such type of strategic framework that will help the organisation in the achievement of goals and meeting out the needs and demands of the
customers in the market (Drago-Severson and Blum-DeStefano, 2018). Not only this, I would also like to bring in use the devises and the methods for the evaluation of data that has been collected by doing the survey in the market. CONCLUSION This project report lays its focus on the new product development strategies of the marketing manager who is also playing the role of Research and Development Personnel in LG. This assignment concludes by laying its focus on the strategies and development of a plan in respect of launching of a new product in the market by applying all the tools of research methodology. My experience of working in a team is really good and I was being given appraisal on its basis only by my team members. The experience of working in a team as a research and development manager was really good It helped me in improving and polishing my skills and developing of new one.
