INTRODUCTIONI am going to present this that Marketing is a department which concentrates on sellingthe products through different marketing plans and policies. This department also makesstrategies for advertising and promotion of product in such a way that target market can becovered in the best possible way. This report will focus on the reflection of principles ofmarketing & communications in a digital world. In addition to this, Gibbs reflection cycle will betaken to make the understanding more clear and detailed. REFLECTIONGibbs reflective cycleDescription: Throughout this study I have learnt that to grow in the market organisation, one shouldcome up with some new and innovative product. It will help the company in creating a differentposition in the market as every person likes to try new product. It is really important to have amarketing department which can focus on increasing the sales through advertising and differentmarketing strategies (Quinton and Simkin, 2017). In addition to this, I have also learnt thatproduct is required to be improved on constant basis in order to sustain in the long run in themarket. New and improved products will help in giving a tough competition to the competitors.As this will help in attracting focus and concentration of many customers due to the new featureand innovation of the product. Other than this, while conducting this study it has also beendetermined that every organisation must follow its own pricing strategies which should be madeafter considering all the aspects of cost and profit margins. In this group activity we were 4members who had made the complete study on the principles of marketing & communications ina digital world. This will help me in knowing the key competitors of the company and the reasonbehind the development of the product so that competitive advantage can be gained. Feelings: During the group presentation I have felt that it is really important to analyse about themarket before planning or coming up with something new. This will help in knowing more indetail and allow more growth and safety in the future. I have grown my confidence by this groupactivity from before as I came to know more about this and gained knowledge and information.Other than this, I have also gained knowledge about different market strategies and pricingstrategies as well.
