Prison is based on the ineffective and expensive way of dealing with different women which

examples from the baroness Jean Corston (Davies and et.al., 2019). It has been analyzed that
men and women who perform equal crimes needs different approaches by which they can be
handle. According to the author equality must be exists in prisons. Equality needs to be embrace
inside the jail and not just the fairness (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. The prison is been
designed from the men and has been harsher on women. The author has argued that both men
and women are two different people and the equal treatment many not give the equal outcome,
so consideration must be taken so that the prisons are also been designed according to the
women.

The experience of women inside the prison is totally awful and there has been a need to totally
different approach. It has been analyzed that the environment of prison was totally unhygienic.
Women, who have suffered from abuse which can be physical or sexual, must be provided with
better therapeutic environment. The experience of women can be enhanced by providing
therapeutic environment. This can be the example of radical approach that can be used to
improve the experience of women (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. In order to overcome this
problem it has been recommended to the government that they must be involved in announcing
the strategy which relates to the existing women prison must be changed with the small custodial
centers in different geographical centers. The design of the women prison must not be according
to men as it becomes relatively harsher on women. This behavior has also caused women to the
urge of death and has provided their families with the grief. In this it has been recommended to
government that women’s family who has suffered because of their death must be provided to
them (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. It has also been analyzed that Funding should also cover
reasonable travel, accommodation and subsistence costs of families’ attendance at inquests
(Birket, 2017). It has also been analyzed that the prison are been designed for the men, there has
been a gap in services provided to women inside the prison. It has been analyzed that the needs
of women has been overlooked inside the prison, all these incidences has made life of women
drastic inside the cells. The department of health is also been failing to meet the requirements of
women inside the prison (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016). In order to overcome this problem for
example inter-departmental ministerial group must be implemented. This group will be engaged
in analyzing the problems of women and will come up with ultimate solution for them. They will
be engaged in implementing the systematic safeguards which will be necessary for the safety of
women and also they will try to analyze the needs of women. Support also needs to be provided
to women who has the pasty history of abuse, raped or have gone through the domestic violence
(Kirwan and et.al., 2019). It has been analyzed that the harsher rules and regulations inside the
prisons are making the life of women inside the prison awful.
As per evidence that identify the equality duty and desired to impact on the systematically
manner. Sometimes, it also encouraging the women by other local commissioner which
providing the better services (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. In order to tackle the problem
and underlying the causes of women (Kirwan and et.al., 2019). Furthermore, Government
extension that support to prisoner sentence which less than 12 months. It should be beneficial for

women to improve their current condition or situation. As another way, it is also concentration
on minimizing the reoffending which seems likely to easily reinforce the loss of generic funding
(Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. It is uncertain thing that will not sufficient to handle large
amount of data. Women is trying to enable the new provider which make sensible decision in
own improvement.
Moreover, government review the female custodial estate and also taking the necessary
steps. It will identify the women prison population as per given legislative changes which may
create the opportunity (Davies and et.al., 2019). It also including the women prison population
which is not automatically fallen in quickly. Over half of women always continue to receive the
short term custodial sentence.
The Government has required to publish the data or information which identify whether
there is any type of discrimination occurs between male and female. Women have accounted that
15% exits under supervision in social community (Minson, 2020). As a resulting, it can be
identified the suspended orders and five percent of total prison population.
Adapting the relation theory to identify the gender differences
The relational theory is one of development that has come from increased one
understanding of gender differences. Especially when different ways in which men and women
has developed the psychologically manner. By using relational theory, it will be developed an
effective service in order to avoid for re-creating the correlation setting in same kind of growth
and development (Moore, Scraton and Wahidin, 2017). As identified that relationship when
many women experience in society, community. It is an important to assume that women life
experience which may affect how they will perform function in both criminal justice system at
the time of process. Furthermore, psychology have explained the development as progress from
the dependence to mature independence (Gelsthorpe and Durnescu, 2016).. The primary
motivation is to develop a sense of self-worth and perform the signification in order to develop
the connection with another one.

From the above study it has been summarized that the prisons have been designed by men
for men. The author has provided the details that equality for the men and women inside the
prison has not provided the equal outcomes rather it has been inappropriately harsh for women
