Introduction
In today's world, communication is the most important thing in
order to achieve growth and reducing all kind of barriers. In
accordance with the situation of COVID-19 pandemic, it was
analysed that there were many people who prevents from taking
vaccine as they think that taking vaccine is a risk for them.
Physical barriers
It is defined as a kind of physical distraction, which may create an
effect on smooth flow of communication with all the individuals.
By evaluating the pandemic situation, one of the main issue
associated with it is that the location in which tests were being
done was far away due to which individuals feel inconvenient to
arrive at the place. It also creates a problem in communicating with
other people as all the people has different background status and
live in other territories so it becomes difficult for them.
Challenges
Emotional barriers
In United Kingdom, there are large number of people who does not
give preference on taking the vaccine because they do not to get in
close contact with people and has the fear that they might get sick
after taking vaccine. It is a barrier to effective communication in
relation with fear and distrust also. Both emotion and
communication are closely connected with each other so as people
do not trust on taking the vaccine, communication with other
individuals also get affected because they do not want to even
discuss about it.
Not listening to other individuals: - In effective
communication, it becomes a challenge if a person does not
listen to another individual. As per the situation of COVID-
19 pandemic, it becomes difficult for the government of UK
also to convince people regarding taking up the vaccine.
Thinking that, everyone is an amazing communicator. It
becomes a challenge to communicate in a good way
because there are certain people who might lack capability
and may not be able to express themselves.
Avoiding difficult conversations: - It becomes a challenge
while doing communication because there are many people
who prefers to avoid the difficult conversation due to which
many misunderstanding also is occurred as people might
create a wrong meaning from conversation.

One of the effective strategy to decrease barriers is good body
language. While doing interaction, a person should not at all show
their emotions in front of other people so that misunderstanding
could be occurred.

In order to reduce the effect of communication, active listening is
the most significant thing. Based on this, individuals should
properly assess about what other person is exactly saying so that
receiver also get an interest in doing the interaction with other
individuals.

distractions
The barriers to communication gets reduced when there are limited
distractions. There are several strategies that could be used while
doing interaction like putting away the mobile device, not
concentrating on additional things and many more.

From the presented data, it has been concluded that efficient
communication will create high set of the trust that are to be resolves the
issues and offers clarity, and develop better dealings and increase the
engagement. The plan of actions for overcoming efficient communication
include positive promotional and utilising of signs and diverse languages.
