INTRODUCTION
Global Business environment is full of competition and rapidly changing due to the change in
technology it is very important for the organisation to regularly conduct the internal and external
analysis to gain the competitive advantage. SWOT analysis is a strong analytical tool that helps
the organisation in analysing the internal strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats
causing due to the external environmental factors by which company can gain competitive
advantage (Landmann, Stolz-Römmermann and Günther, 2020). The present report is the
portfolio on the basis of pestle analysis of Morrison's - a well known retail supermarket of UK.
The report outlines Swot analysis and the key drivers that impact the functional areas of
Morrison's.

SWOT analysis is a technique which is used in an operational firm to evaluate internal as
well as external environment of the business firm. It enables managers of the firm to develop an
effective plan which will regulate effective working in the operational firm considering several
market trends. As the given firm is a retail industry managers of the firm have to keep in mind
several internal and external factors in mind to operate effectively in the given marketplace
