OR ARENA DESIGN IN MELCHESTER- THUS THE ROOF WORTH?
Melchester local government has agreed to start infrastructure project in order to
celebrate 2000 anniversary and the project will hold capacity to 20000. Moreover, it will lead in
generating thousand of job for local people in recent and future scenario. The building of Arena
will result in several benefits, risk, problem which can be illustrated as follows:
BENEFITS OR OPPORTUNITIES OF DESIGNING ARENA
 It can be stated that opportunities of residing the roof has lead in increasing overall
capacity of Arena to 20%. that is around 24000 At the same time the development of
roof in summer month would contribute in attracting potential users. Thereby generating
more revenue and tourist visit for having fun and entertainment. So, it can be stated that
Melchester Arena is the largest in UK (Karagozlu, 2018).
 So, it is opportunities for Melchester to not only attract more people, but they are also
interested to invest in the same thereby leading generating revenue or contributing in
GDP of country.
 Moreover, the likelihood of completion of project on time thereby leading in increasing
project validity and more stakeholder will be interested to buy for earning maximum
return.
Thus it can be stated that the project to make investment in redesign the roof will helps in
attracting wide range of people from across worldwide to come and enjoyed. Thereby generating
maximum number of employment opportunities and enhancing lifestyles of people with better
facilities and infrastructure.
PROBLEM RELATED TO DESIGNING OF ARENA
 Such as it has been estimated that in last stage of project planning there has been mistake
of underestimation of overall groundwork. Moreover, £800m is the amount of budget that
has been found out after revising but there is no sufficient public fund for the investment.
So, one of the challenged associated with the project is shortage of capital around £50m.

RISK
 High finance risk: It has been analysed that investment of fund in design of Arena
involves high financial risk as lot amount of capital needs to be invested for better
outcome.
 Insufficient resources: Another risk involved in the project is that the resources
allocated may be insufficient to meet all expense and promote smooth operation of
project so that end objectives can be achieved (Chiang, 2017).
 Risk of ineffective communication: Moreover it can be illustrate that the project also
involves risk of ineffective communication that will lead in future delay in completion of
task and gaining particular benefits.
SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM
The various solution of shortage of capital can be explained as follows:
 From the above study it can be stated that solution of problem or the associated risk can
be removed by finding alternative sources from which fund can be raised so that
investment can be made in the Arena (Dossey, 2017).
 Moreover, alternative ways needs to be find to reduce overall cost so that in minimum
price the project can be implemented and maximum outcome can be achieved.
Thus, these two are alternative solution which could be used to overcome the problem or
associated risk for better outcome.
